DT-700 Quick User Guide
This is the preliminary user manual for DT-700. More information will be added in
the future once the new version is released. Please contact us if there is any
question while you are operating DT-700.

1. Example for not installing firewall/ IP sharing device
Query IP address (for the version of Windows 2000 and XP)
Step1. Choose left corner Start Run

Step3. When the window appears, input ipconfig/ all
Step4. When the data streams come out, please see IP Address to check the IP.

2. Example for having/ using firewall/ IP sharing device

Step1. Choose left corner Start Render
Step2. Input cmd to Open bar
Step3. When the window appears, input ipconfig/ all

Step4. When the data streams come out, please see IP Address to check the IP.
Step5. Open firewall/ IP sharing device manager then add new address of virtual
server IP and service port.

Step6. Add new virtual server IP and service port
Step7. Virtual server IP and service port adding is completed.
Step8. Query connector to external IP address:

3. Example of Using Dynamic IP

3.1 Apply a private domain name
Step 1.
Using following website apply a personal domain name. (www.dyndns.com )
Step2.
Get in this website then choose Create Account at the right top corner.
Step 3.
Enter users information.

Step 4.
Please put check marks on Terms of Services.
Step 5.
Go on to next step.
Step 6.
When following window appears, it indicates that the account is applied successfully
then you can check the confirmation e-mail at your e-mail box.

Step 7.
When confirmation e-mail is received, please connect to the web link shown at
middle of this mail to make the account opened.
Step 8.
When the account is opened successfully, you will see the following message.

3.2 Start Log in Setting

Step1.
After finishing the setting of chapter 3.1, you have had a new account. Then, next
step is to apply your own domain name. Please choose the Login at the top corner
of the window.
Step 2.
Please choose the Service at the function bar after logging in then choose Dynamic
DNS as next step.

Step 3.
You will see a picture like below then Create Hosts
Step 4.
There will be some information on the screen. You just have to fill in Host Name
then choosing the desired Domain Name at the select box. For the IP address,

Step 5.
Congratulations!! You have already create a personal own Domain Name.
3.3 User Management

Entering the internet by dynamic IP, it will be different every time, so you have to
always use new updated IP program to correspond current IP to new applied
Domain Name.
Step 1.
Using below connection downloading DynDNS to update IP program.

Step 2.
Press the Download Now!
Step 3.
After the program is installed, run the program of DynDNS then click on Setting

Step 4.
This step will instruction you how to add new setting.
Step 5.
Enter the group name. It can be defined by your own group name.

Step 6.
1. In Username: please enter your account number applied from DynDNS.
2. Enter password and confirm the number you enter again then press ADD.
Step 7.
At this time, you will see a window coming out. Enter your domain name again then
press OK

The following step is related to the procedure of connection setting. If users adopt
Dail-up system with ADSL Line for internet connection, DynDNS will automatically
be activated as user turning on the computer every time to finish the connection
procedure and also update the status between
Protocol.

Complete the connection procedure such as dialer information.etc.
Step 10.
After every step is complete, you will see a small picture at the right bottom corner.
You will see a picture like below when all steps are completed.

GC-101 SMS Setting

A.
GC-101 TT Version (SMS) Please note TT version is only available for Taiwan
resident.
1. Setting SMS MMS polling: #username,0000,8,3*
2. Setting terminal number(for receiving SMS):
#username,0000,centerno,+8869xxxxxxxx*
B.
GC-101 standard version (GPRS)
Setting GPRS IP address and port(fixed IP):
#username,0000,18,xx.xx.xx.xx:port number*
Setting the router to TCP: #username,0000,14,6 or 7*
C.
GC-101 1.67M Version
If the user is using dynamic IP, please do the following steps
Setting up the router to TCP: #username,0000,14,6 or 7*
(1) If the data is sent to TCP, please follow below steps.
#username,0000,22,0*
#username,0000,18,xx.xx.xx.xx:port number*
(2) If the data is send to URL, please follow below steps.

AP Setting up Steps: Communication Setting

Choose the way of GPS fixed data receiving (setting)
<Receiving data through SMS>
1. Communication setting: click on SMS or Both
2. Comm Port setting: Choose the Comm Port connected to terminal and baud rate
then click on Connect for the connection.
Please note port 7700 is an example, please use your assess port.

2. Input the server listen port

AP Setting up Steps: Adding New IMEI (IMEI Manager)

1. Click on Add
2. Input new IMEI then click on Save to save new parameter

AP Setting up Steps: Google Tracker

Use this setting to choose the IMEIs traces you would like to see on Google Earth
Map.
1. Choose the IMEI number
2. Click on tracking

AP Setting up Steps: Backup and Load Traces

Backup: choose the source of the data coming from which IMEI
Load: click on Load then choose the file name(*.txt)
Erase: erase all the data
Please note its better not exceeding 10,000 data.
