Excellency,
I, Mr/Ms ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- a citizen of ---------------------------------------- (name of the country) am the sole owner/one of the
owners/Proprietors/an Employee of ---------------------------------------------------------------------------(name of the company) and holder of UAE's ID No. -------------------------------------------- (copy
attached) valid up to ----------------------------------------- intend to hire and recruit a Nepalese lady
Ms -------------------------------------------------------------------- , holder of Nepalese Passport No. ---------------------, issued at -------------------------------------- (place of issue) on ------------------------- (date of
issue) as Housemaid/Servant/Babysitter/Nanny/Cook/Cleaner (hereafter referred to as the
"Employee" under my sponsorship to work at my residence for an initial contract period of two
years (extendable) between Ms./Mrs. --------------------------------------------------- and myself.
I have attached Employment Contract signed by me at the presence of the officials of the
Embassy of Nepal (herein after referred to as "the Embassy") for attestation. Also enclosed is a
cash amount of AED. 5,000/- (Arab Emirates Dirham Five Thousand) as security deposit.
I, hereby, agree that the deposited amount may be used by the Embassy in circumstances where
I, for any reason whatsoever, fail to abide by the terms and conditions of the Contract resulting in
the necessity of paying salaries, dues and/or repatriating the Employee to her home country. I
also understand that the security deposit will be returned to me by the Embassy upon successful
completion of the Contract period as well as upon submission of the relevant documents
including the proof of cancellation of visa that confirm the Employee's departure from the UAE to
Nepal.
I declare that my monthly income or a combine income including the earning of my spouse is not
less than AED 10,000.00 (Arab Emirates Dirham ten thousand) besides the cost of
accommodation for my family. I have enclosed the salary certificate/s issued by -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (name of the company/ies)
confirming my/our monthly income. Copies of house ownership certificate/tenancy contract,
my/our passport/s and UAE visa (if applicable) are also attached along with this
Undertaking/Guarantee Letter.
Furthermore, I shall comply with the following terms and conditions as stipulated by the
Embassy:
1.

I shall submit a copy of Employment Agreement for Domestic Workers and Sponsors duly
attested by the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, Ministry of Interior,
Government of the United Arab Emirates to the Embassy for the latter's record.

I shall also submit the Contract signed by me in the presence of the Embassy official(s) and
by my employee in the presence of officials of the Department of Foreign Employment of
Nepal.

3.

By enclosing her original passport with a visa stamp on it (and a copy), life/medical
insurance card and its copy, a copy of her entry visa previously attested by the Embassy, I
will bring the Employee to the Embassy within two months of her arrival.

4.

I have enclosed a Police Report issued in my favour by the competent police authority of the
United Arab Emirates.

5.

I have enclosed copies of passport/visa/ID of my spouse who is an Employee of ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (name of the company) / not employed.
Also enclosed is a copy of our marriage certificate.

6.

I assure the Embassy that I will bring in my Employee using no other route than the
Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, Nepal.

7.

I have ------------ (number) family members including ------------ (number) child/children for
the Employee to deliver her service and will arrange extra Employees if the number exceeds.

8.

I take responsibility to induct the Employee into her responsibilities i.e. using utensils,
kitchenware and appliances, etc. immediately after her joining the service and shall not
deduct any amount of money from her salary for the accidental damage, scratch, broken or
conked out electronic and mechanical devices.

9.

I will inform the Embassy of the Employee's departure and arrival to and from the UAE along
with my family on holidays, tours, or voyages.

10. The Embassy can periodically speak to the Employee at telephone no. ------------------------- at
my residence or her direct contact no. -------------------------------------.
11. For refunding the amount AED 5000.00, I understand that I will arrange the following:
A. I will ask my employee to contact the Embassy during office hours or send an email
mentioning her contact number and thereby letting the Embassy verify that all
salaries/dues are paid to her. The Embassy, as mentioned above, reserves rights to deduct
any amount payable to the employee in such event.
B. I will submit a written request (no format given) to refund the amount by enclosing a)
Cancellation of visa; b) Copy of air ticket to Nepal; c) Exit paper or exit stamp, and d)
Original receipt given by the Embassy at the time you deposited the money.
