Our reputation for developing automated auction systems is unmatched among academicians and software development firms,
because Computech-built and operated auction systems have returned $100+ billion in revenue since 1994.
Few, if any, organizations can match Computech’s experience when it comes to auctioning licenses for spectrum, land use, oil and
gas drilling rights, or goods like those repossessed by federal agencies and international authorities. Automating the auction process
allows for greater efficiency, optimal pricing, auditability, price discovery, and transparency.

From combinatorial to reverse, simultaneous multi-round to clock-proxy, Computech is unmatched in terms of creating, operating,
and maintaining reliable, robust auction systems. Experience shows online auctions benefit both buyers and sellers regardless of the
good or service sold, through increased transparency, competition, and allocation efficiency.
Simultaneous Multiple-Round
Based on the simultaneous multi-round (SMR) model, Computech has designed & built four generations of fully
automated, completely transparent, auction systems for the FCC. ISAS, the current system, runs multiple concurrent
auctions, provides bidders and the public with immediate feedback on current auctions, and offers full access to
archived auction data.
Descending / Reverse
To meet a governmental mandate to improve
access to affordable telecommunications service
in rural areas, Computech delivered a descending-bid
auction system for a large client where telephone
companies compete for licenses to provide service
for rural areas under the U.S. Universal Service
Fund program.
