Wise Men
Seek Him?

Wisdom is knowledge guided by understanding, but clever men and women rule
the world.
The LORD knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity. Blessed is the
man whom thou chastenest, O LORD, and teachest him out of thy law; That thou
mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the
wicked. (Psa 94:11-13).
Generally, people who could reason well, who could think well, and who could
speak convincingly are regarded as clever. Mans cleverness is always apt to
promote self, display pride and arrogance while seeking selfish gains and personal
aggrandizement.
The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way: but the folly of fools is
deceit. (Pro 14:8).
Wisdom is the personal character which enables one to apply his knowledge
skillfully, with perfection and finesse, behaving with dignity and consideration, to
solve seemingly insoluble problems with objective logic, and for the interest of all
concerned.
They do great feats without much ado, they find a knotty issue and quickly
discover the best way out of the logjam, and they go all out to seek the best but
simple way while maintaining their coolness and restraint.
Wisdom of God is the principal thing in Christianity.
Wise men still seek Jesus!
When Christ was born in Bethlehem of Judea, wise men from the east were given
the divine assignment to seek out where is he that is born King of the Jews? for
we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. (Mat 2:2).
The Great Commission
After His resurrection from death, and shortly before His ascension into Heaven,
Jesus Christ committed The Great Commission into the hands of His disciples
genuine followers of Jesus Christ. Go ye into all the world, and preach the
gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he
that believeth not shall be damned. (Mar 16:15,16).

Today, wise men still seek Jesus,

To know Him,
To worship Him,
To serve Him,
To walk in His steps,
To preach His gospel to all mankind, and
To win lost souls into the Kingdom of God.

Holiness Beauty of the Redeemed

The Magi and genuine disciples, redeemed souls, are wise men. And an highway
shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean
shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools,
shall not err therein. No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up
thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there: (Isa
35:8,9).
Encounter with Jesus
Three Magi, gentiles who were far away from Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria, saw
in the east a Star will come out of Jacob; a scepter will rise out of Israel (Nu.
24:17), as a revelation of the Savior of all nations.
The Magi sought Jesus as best as they knew how.
They followed after the star tenaciously from their home base till the star, which
they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the
young child was. (Mat 2:9).

Have you come to meet Jesus Christ right where He stands calling you O
sinners come home?
Do you celebrate the birth of the Savior of humanity in sinfulness and out of
iniquities?

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the
door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also
overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. (Rev 3:20,21).

What sort of Christmas

Life of sinfulness and disobedience to God is always a long dark night of bondage
under the captivity of the devil.
What a happy day it always is when Jesus Christ washes your sins away.
The wise Magi felt great joy and heartfelt satisfaction when they sighted the Star
of Jesus again. When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great
joy.(Mat 2:10).

Do you celebrate Christmas as a child of God, or as a sinful man or woman

reveling in worldliness and unsure of where youll spend eternity?

Much More than Santa Claus

And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary
his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him:
Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come
before him: worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. (1Ch 16:29).
Christmas has become commercialized and worldly because:

some want the crown but they wont bear the cross,
some others want Heavens bright mansions but they wont pay the price,
a very large throng are called Christians while they live daily in sinfulness and
worldliness,
But it takes your hands, your head, your heart, your all and your everything
to serve the Lord.

The wise men came to worship the lord bearing costly gifts of gold, myrrh, and
frankincense. They brought all they had themselves, their talents, their
treasures, and their time to worship the King of Kings.
How To be Gods Sons and Daughters
Wise men today are still seeking for Jesus, but not in the reveling and satanic
orgies of Christmas festivities without Christ, but through all of Christ Himself, His
Word, His Spirit, and the teachings of His saints.

Wise men still seek Jesus, but not in the cheating, looting, and deceptions of the
world and its system, but in Truth and in Spirit.
Wise men seeking Jesus realize how much they need Him, and follow Him through
the waters, through the garden, through the judgment, through dark Calvary, and
just all the way.
Because they go wherever He leads them, Christ goes with the wise men all the
way, and He gives them grace and glory which worldly pleasures and Christmas
without Christ could not give.
And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they
that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. (Dan 12:3)
This Christmas, if you are already a Christian, you must continue in the Lords
service.
Serve the Lord thy God!
Serve Him with all your might, with all your heart, with all your soul, with your
entire mind, and with all your strength. That will be wisdom indeed!
This Christmas, if you are not yet one of Gods dear children, repent, and enter His
fold, for All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh
to me I will in no wise cast out. (Joh 6:37).
Christmas celebration must be nothing short of:

the birth of Jesus Christ, the Savior of all men,

salvation of man from his sins, and
restoration of man unto a perfect relationship with God.

All genuine followers of Jesus Christ have taken the personal decision to:

follow Jesus Christ,

walk with Jesus Christ,
work for Jesus Christ, and
stay with Jesus Christ Him unto death.

Making the birth of Christ meaningful and real unto you, commit yourself and
your way unto God today!

ACCEPT that you are a sinner, and turn to God with a repentant heart.
BELIEVE on the Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Savior.
CONFESS your sins to God with a contrite heart and genuine remorse.
REPENT from those sins with the desire and determination not to go back into
them again.
5. FORSAKE sin in all forms and ramifications, shades, colors and types.
You can seek God now, following those five steps, and pray the prayer of faith
unto God, and become a brand new person in Christ.
It is not by trying to do it; it is TRUSTING IN GOD to do it here and now!
Truly, wise men, like you, are still seeking Jesus!
Better be wise!
