Not only for Christmas ...

... TSMs get involved regionally for a good cause

Several Team Schein member of the regional Henry Schein Dental Germany depots have this year
passed Christmas donations with a total value of more than 17,500 EUR to local clubs, organizations
and other initiatives. In the Nuremberg region two organizations received donations. The association
"Rummelsberger Diakonia eV" has received an autoclave for the dental practice of their project
"Auhof". The "Auhof" is an institution created for people with intellectual disabilities. Also, the
"Schulzentrum am Wolkenrasen (Education center at Wolkenrasen) in Thuringia was supported
with a donation. Here, the money will benefit children with special educational needs. Overall, the
Henry Schein Depot Nuremberg has passed donations with a total value of more than 9,000 EUR.
The depot in Stuttgart again supports the association "Trott war", which is a newspaper written by
social engaged journalists and is sold by homeless people. With the donation of 5,000 EUR the depot
sponsors a homeless in selling this newspaper and thus allows him a permanent position at the club
for another year. In Hanover, the Christmas donation of Henry Schein as in the previous year goes to
the Zahnmobil (Dental Mobile) Hanover. Together with the companies Drr, Voco and Ivoclar the
depot this year provides 75 sleeping bags for people in need during the cold winter time. In
Frankfurt am Main Henry Schein again assists homeless people as well as people in need. With a
Christmas cash donation of EUR 3,000, the work of the Elisabeth Straenambulanz (Elisabeth
dental practice) in Frankfurt is supported. The Henry Schein Depot in Frankfurt engaged in this
project after a suggestion of a TSM during the foundation of the road ambulance. Ever since then
the depot maintains a good relationship with the initiator Dr. Agnes d'Albon and has been
supportive in providing technical service, regular donations of material as well as financial support.
Also in the Langen headquarters dedicated TSMs have collected over 200 donations in kind. The
items included many warm clothes, toiletries, pet food and product donations from Ultradent
Products, Kimberly-Clark as well as Douglas. On December 22 and 23 the gifts were handed over to
Karin Khn, from the Diakonie in Frankfurt/Main in order to be given to their women's refuge and
the homeless shelter.

Esther Hahn, Nurse B. A., received the donation in kind with the value of 6.800,00 EUR. TSMs Kerstin
Herzog and Alexander Walther handed over the donation.
