Certification Course for

Green Mark Manager (GMM)


(Core module for Certified Green Mark Professional Programme )

Overview
The Governments commitment to adopt BCA Green Mark certification for new buildings will drive the
demand for Green Buildings in Singapore. As the number of green buildings increases, the industry will
see a need to have more competent specialists to design, construct, manage and maintain specialised
green facilities and services.

what yOu will learn


The 4-1/2 day programme aims to provide an overview to Green Mark scheme. It covers the legislative
framework, its criteria and the underlying performance standards as well as the assessment system.
A special focus will be placed on green technologies; types available, the methods of identifying,
evaluating and selecting cost effective solutions and technologies towards better building performance
and higher GM scores.
The course will also touch on issues related to the integration of passive designs, co-operation between
disciplines in the design, and optimising of energy use in buildings. There will be case studies and
presentations to encourage individual as well as small group participation.

Apply Green Mark criteria earlier in the life of project and compute assessment score
Facilitate towards an integrated design and verify compliance to Green Mark standards

Participants who have achieved a minimum of 75% class attendance and passed the end-of-course
assessments will be awarded the Certificate of Successful Completion. For those who do not sit for
the assessments, but have a minimum of 75% class attendance, will be issued with a Certificate of
Accomplishment.

- Request for withdrawal in writing, that reaches BCA Academy less than 2 weeks but more than 3 working days before the seminar date: 75% refund of seminar fee.
- Request for withdrawal in writing, that reaches BCA Academy 3 working days or less before the seminar date: No refund of seminar fee.
BCA Academy reserves the right to amend the seminar details or cancel the seminar and fully refund the participants should unforeseen circumstances warrant it.
