Dec. 14 & 19 &20-"Journey to Bethlehem" will be held at Woodcrest Retreat

weekend nights. The Christmas story comes alive, in six unique scenes, as you walk
by candlelight along quiet wooded trails with the Biblical characters. Dramatic

Dec. 14, Sun.-All are welcome to the Christmas program at the Red Run Mennonite
Church at 7 p.m. This will include singing, drama, and a chimes choir.
Dec. 17, Wed.-Bowmansville District Sewing Circle will meet at the Bowmansville
Mennonite Church in the morning and afternoon. Everyone is welcome to help with
knotting comforters, quilting, or sewing on a sewing machine. You are welcome to
come for the entire time, or just a few hours as it suits you. The project for this
month is Hygiene Kits. MCC continues to have urgent needs for hygiene kits, which
provide supplies to families whose lives have been disrupted by war of disaster. A
Hygiene Kit contains the following new items (in packaging:1 adult-size toothbrush
1 large bar bath soap,1 good quality fingernail clipper,1 dark colored hand towel.
Items can be brought to the church and Sewing Circle will see they are taken to
MCC for distribution. Thank you for all of your contributions to MCC's work in the
name of Christ!
Dec. 17, Wed.- Youth Group will meet at the church at 7 p.m.
Dec. 18, Thurs.- Jr. Youth will meet at the church at 7 p.m.
-Save the Date: Our church will be participating in the Cocalico Area
Community Meals again in 2015 and will be responsible for the meal on January
22nd.Volunteers are needed to help and donate food items. A sign-up sheet will be
placed in the Narthex in January.
-The 2015 offering envelopes are on the table in the narthex. Please complete the
slip of paper in your offering envelope box and then drop it into the wooden box on
the table. This will enable us to give you the correct report of your offerings at
year-end. (Please use your new envelopes in 2015.)
-On the Christmas tree are stars for gift certificates to gas stations, stores etc,
please take some stars and get gift certificates of any amount and give them to an
outreach committee member. The certificates will be given to some local families to
Bless them this Christmas. If you have a name of someone to Bless see Darrell.
