Convergence is this years motto for all the

ANSYS Users conferences taking place around
the world. Traditionally, the conference with
the largest content of information is the
ANSYS Conference & CADFEM Users Meeting
held in German. Therefore, a very large
number of ANSYS users meet, or converge,
at this event to exchange ideas, experience
and news, and actively increase their knowledge. The interdisciplinary specialist conference organized by CADFEM and ANSYS
Germany is an excellent opportunity for those
who are interested in but do not yet belong
to the users community, to become more
acquainted with the practical use of numerical
simulation.

A users conference depends on user reports!

You can become a part of the conference
yourself by contributing your personal experience of using ANSYS and other CADFEM
CAE-products. Present your simulation and
research projects in structural mechanics, fluid
mechanics, electro magnetics or multi-physics
to an interested expert audience.

Our program committee guarantees a highquality conference program and looks forward
to receiving your lecture proposal by and no
later than February 22 2013. For further

new ACUM Best Paper Award, please refer to

General Information
We expect technically-oriented user reports
and lectures on different fields of technology.

Language
Lectures can be held in English or German.
Documents for presentation should be if
at all possible in English.
Please submit the title of your lecture in the
language in which you will hold it.

Lecture submission and deadlines

Duration of lecture should be 25 minutes.
Please submit by February 22 2013:
- Title of lecture
- Short summary stating subject and
contents and the software used
(at least 2000 signs)

- The field/industry you are working in

Publication
By submitting your lecture you agree to
your presentation being published in the
conference media and used by CADFEM
and ANSYS for marketing purposes after
the conference. If you do not agree to this,
please let us know.

Remuneration
As a lecturer, you either receive
- an appreciation fee of EUR 200 or
- free participation on the day
of your Lecture
Lectures by software and hardware suppliers
are welcome. However, they will not be
remunerated nor will a free participation day
be granted. Lectures should have a direct
relation to ANSYS or another CADFEM
software product and should ideally show
real customer examples. We will be pleased
to help you draw up your presentation.

NEW! ACUM Best Paper Award

A committee is going to award in each discipline (Structural Mechanics, Fluid Dynamics,
Electronic-Mechanics and Systems & Multiphysics) the best presentation. Only papers
submitted on time can be considered.
Winners will receive a terrific surprise.

Registration for lecturers

You must register for the conference even
if you are a lecturer.
If you have chosen a free day of participation as remuneration for your user report,
the respective day (presumably Thursday,
June 20 , 2013) will not be charged.
