- Compression reinforcement added at right support hinge location for ductility in accordance with CP 65 cl.3.2.2.1(b) & cl.4.2.3.1(c). Asc = 245.12mm2
@ 9999mm
- RAPT has added tension reinforcement to raise the neutral axis and place the comp steel layer in the comp zone.

Design Comments:- Compression reinforcement added at left support hinge location for ductility in accordance with CP 65 cl.3.2.2.1(b) & cl.4.2.3.1(c). Asc = 245.06mm2 @
1mm
- RAPT has added tension reinforcement to raise the neutral axis and place the comp steel layer in the comp zone.

Design Comments:- Compression reinforcement added at span hinge location for ductility in accordance with CP 65 cl.3.2.2.1(b) & cl.4.2.3.1(c). Asc = 704.41mm2 @
2916mm
- RAPT has added tension reinforcement to raise the neutral axis and place the comp steel layer in the comp zone.
- Before adding compression reinforcement to solve a ductility problem RAPT has noticed that the ductility problem was initially caused by a low value of
effective depth as the reinforcement and/ or tendons are a long way from the tension face. Adding steel near the tension face has removed the ductility
problem.

Design Comments:- SUPPORT Reinforcing Bar Spacing - Column Grid 2 - Largest preferred reinforcement size requires bar spacing smaller then minimum. It will be
necessary to use larger bars than the preferred maximum size, place more reinforcement in the flange if possible or place reinforcement in multiple layers.
- - Column Grid 2 - Required Bar Size is greater than the Preffered Bar Size. Maintaining the same cover will require slightly more reinforcement than
calculated. RAPT has increased the required reinforcement by the ratio of the effective depths for the 2 bar sizes in the reinforcement layout.
- SUPPORT Reinforcing Bar Spacing - Column Grid 3 - Largest preferred reinforcement size requires bar spacing smaller then minimum. It will be
necessary to use larger bars than the preferred maximum size, place more reinforcement in the flange if possible or place reinforcement in multiple layers.

Design Comments:- SUPPORT Reinforcing Bar Spacing - Column Grid 3 - Largest preferred reinforcement size requires bar spacing smaller then minimum. It will be
necessary to use larger bars than the preferred maximum size, place more reinforcement in the flange if possible or place reinforcement in multiple layers.
- - Column Grid 3 - Required Bar Size is greater than the Preffered Bar Size. Maintaining the same cover will require slightly more reinforcement than
calculated. RAPT has increased the required reinforcement by the ratio of the effective depths for the 2 bar sizes in the reinforcement layout.
- SUPPORT Reinforcing Bar Spacing - Column Grid 4 - Largest preferred reinforcement size requires bar spacing smaller then minimum. It will be
necessary to use larger bars than the preferred maximum size, place more reinforcement in the flange if possible or place reinforcement in multiple layers.
- - Column Grid 4 - Required Bar Size is greater than the Preffered Bar Size. Maintaining the same cover will require slightly more reinforcement than
calculated. RAPT has increased the required reinforcement by the ratio of the effective depths for the 2 bar sizes in the reinforcement layout.

Design Comments:- - Column Grid 5 - Required Bar Size is greater than the Preffered Bar Size. Maintaining the same cover will require slightly more reinforcement than
calculated. RAPT has increased the required reinforcement by the ratio of the effective depths for the 2 bar sizes in the reinforcement layout.
- SUPPORT Reinforcing Bar Spacing - Column Grid 6 - Largest preferred reinforcement size requires bar spacing smaller then minimum. It will be
necessary to use larger bars than the preferred maximum size, place more reinforcement in the flange if possible or place reinforcement in multiple layers.
