plate. Whole grains are the best choice because these foods
are full of nutrition: vitamins, minerals,
fiber and more.
ALTERNATIVE MENU
Every alternative meal comes
with choice of a vegetables,
fruits, and milk. Fruit Bowl
offered daily. Breads and rolls
are delivered fresh from a local
bakery and are whole grain.
SALADS in the NEWS
NEW! Salad Bar or Grab-and-Go
Salads offered at all schools on
Tuesday,
Wednesday, and
Thursday.
Our side salads include romaine
and iceberg lettuces, spinach,
cucumbers, and tomatoes.
Add garbanzos or kidney beans,
cheese, and some chicken or
turkey, and a whole grain roll
and you have one of our Grab
and Go salads.
SANDWICHES &
WRAPS
WG sandwiches and WG wraps
include sun-butter and jelly or
turkey ham and cheese. Wraps
are offered 2 days per week.
PIZZA
WG Cheese or WG Broccoli Pizza
is served daily.
All lunches include choice of milk: low fat white, fat-free white, chocolate, or lactose-free milk on request. This school lunch menu is subject to change. WG = whole grain.
