These high-t enacity (HT) fibres provide excellently balanced mechanical laminate properties.
Carbon fabrics can be applied in many different materials. For example car parts, motorbik es, helmets,

- no good draping
- suitable for flat units or simple moulds

- characteristically are diagonal lines
- better draping as plain weave

- very good draping
- low slippage resistance
- less crossing thread, thus greater strength in the laminate

Our newly developed printed glass fibres are produced with extreme fine and constant distributed glass fibres.
The surface is very smooth, because of the high quality print and the colours are very intensive and resistance.
Due to the low binder intensity, the product is very soft and smooth and also very good to handle.
Our epoxy and polyester resins are very well recommended for this kind of glass fabric. The optic of the
components comes aft er the last stadium after the application of the last epoxy or polyester resin layer.

Finish sizing:
The finish sizing, determines to a large extent the processing characteristics of the
glass fibre products and the conditions at the glass-matrix interface in the composite
material. The exact composition of the size is usually considered as a manufacturer's
secret. It is a complex mixture of various components, each of which is carefully chosen
for its specific contribution to the performance of the glass fibres during processing and
in the composite material.
Finished fabrics have been treated with modified silane sizes. They feel slightly tacky,
become quickly impregnated with resin, are very soft and smooth, and scarcely fray
when cut.

Glass roving fabric
Textile glass rovings consist of one or a certain number of glass strands aligned
almost parallel and bundled to form a twist-free cable. Rovings are processed to
make roving fabrics, chopped textile glass (chopped glass fibre strands), mats,
and chopped strands. In a number of manufacturing methods, e.g. winding and
pultrusion, rovings are used directly as the reinforcing material.
Roving fabrics made from textile glass rovings are of particular importance. With
these, thick mould parts (e.g. in mould construction) can be made with few layers.
Both the fibre content and the strength are greater by far than those of mat laminates, but lower than those of glass filament fabrics.

but are typically in the range of 3 50mm. Chopped glass are used for reinforcing
both thermosetting and thermoplastic resin types.

C-Glass non woven with special precision thread and with in styrol instant connection. The C-Glass owns an optimised chemical resistance and it is charged with
thread equipment on a silane basis. Since the binder diperses quickly in resin, it is
possible to handle complex geomet ries and curves.
The C-Glass fabrics can be applied in different processes (e. g. by using low
pressure) in order to achieve vissually and chemically improved surfaces.

In the vacuum infusion proc ess, the fabric material (e.g. carbon and glass fabric) is inserted int o the mould and
closed with vacuum bagging film and sealed airtight. Thereafter, the air between the vacuum bagging film and
mould is extract and sucked, on a second port the resin starts to infusion. The reinforcement fabric is thus a
closed process impregnated by the infusion resins and also compressed.

High-tensible perforated Release Film. Ideal for use in
vacuum bag / autoclave processing of composites.
Suitable for use with polyester, epoxy and phenolic resin
systems. Basic purpose of the release film is to ensure the proper
release of the helping material use for vacuum bagging.
The Release Film is placed directly on the peel ply in contact with the laminate. It separates the laminate from breather / bleeder fabrics, which have no release characteristics.

Peel Ply has been well-known in aircraft construction for many years.
The screen fabric produced using nylon is applied as a first or final layer to the epoxid or polyester resin laminate. Following the increase in hardness or respectively before bonding the parts, the tear-off fabric is peeled
off ("torn off"). This result is an overall rough, bondable upper surface free from lubricating film.
Rubbing and cleaning before the glueing or painting is not necessary since the peel ply is not supposed
to be in the laminate, a red-coloured tracer thread is weaved into the material.

Advantage to work with peel ply fabric:

- accurate upper surfac e
- a bit rough after pulling off, absolutely clean and free of dust
- ideal substrate for bonding or continuous laminating/ painting
- saves time, no needed to swarf with sand-paper.
In some cases after using the Peel Ply fabric is not needed to grind with sand paper. (e. g. surfboards, boat decks
etc.), in this case, it will create non-slippery surfaces.

Epoxy injection-resin HP-E3000RI

Base of the series HP-E3000RI is an unfilled epoxy-resin, which is mixable with different hardeners
for several applications.
The hardeners HP-E30RI, and HP-E300RI allow pot-life times between 30 and 300 minutes.
Furthermore the spezial hardener HP-E120RI provides higher temperature stabilities.
The injection- / infusion-resins of the series HP-E3000RI show very low viscosities, what supports
excellent wet-out and flow properties. The series is usable for hand-laminating, too.

High strength thermosetting re sin

The thermosetting epoxy systems HP-E29L, HP -E56L and HP-E 111L are unfilled
low-viscosity laminating resins with high-strength.
They are based on our successfully laminating resins HP-E 28L, HP-E55L and HP E110L. The high-strengt h laminating epoxy were developed in close collaboration
with our customers in concentration on industrial productions.
They submit a high trans fer rate due to accelerating curing at higher temperatures
and good mechanical properties. With blending different hardener it is possible to adjust a flexible curing time
(pot life) between 25 and 110 minut es. Of course it is possible to add filling agents like microballoons, cotton
flocks, thixotropy powder or colour pigments from HP-Textiles.
A combination with suitable gelcoats, based on polye ster, polyurethane and epoxy is achievable as
well. Moreover, the system s show very good physiological compatibilities in comparison to many other
resins.

Description:
The In-Mould-Coating is a specially created two component polyurethane coating for in mould application. The expanded
use of moulded plastic and composite components inspired HP-Textiles to develop coatings that can be applied in the
moulding process. Our In-Mould Coatings are an economical method for reducing the cost and time and performs a very
good adhesion to FRP surfaces.
Advantages:
In addition to the huge time saving and cost reduction in general and the quality of the finished part is higer, as the paint
provides better adhesion to the component, as in separate painting. Also the paint a separate run effects such as the
orange peel can be prevented by using in-mold coating.

Characteristics and application:

HP-BM17 is applied sparingly with a soft cotton cloth (rotary motions).
After a short drying time (approx.15 minutes) the surface is polished with
a dry and clean cotton cloth to a high gloss The mould is supposed to
have an evenly gloss free from any streaks.
Prior to the first mould release, new moulds are preprocessed with three
or five coatings of BM 17. Every coating is supposed or be applied by
using a different method, e.g.: from above to the bottom, from the left to
the right, rotary. After the mould release agent had been allowed to evaporate for several hours (over night is the best), the material should be
polished again intensively.

At first, you have to prime the ground with a coating of wax. After that, the
pva-film release is applied with a film release-sponge or a soft brush. In
order to achieve an even surface, the coating has to be carried out evenly
and free from any streaks. By using a colouring, the evenly coating can be
controlled especially well. After about 5-10 minutes the film release forms a
dry and glossy film.

Island delivery:
Delivery to island has normally a fee of 14,50 per courier service. Hazardous goods will only be delivered by freight
