What Does Marked Mean?

In the Old Testament, Gods chosen people were set out by God to act and live differently than other nations. They were
held to higher standards and were blessed by God in unique ways. In the New Testament, we see this same privileged
position belongs to those in the church. Christians, little Christs because of what God has done for them, are set apart
from the rest of humanity and they are to live and act accordingly.
Upcoming Events
Parents Nite OutJanuary 16th (6-8pm)
As a service to the many families in our church, NHB Studentz is hosting at Parents Nite Out in the fellowship hall @ NHBC from
6-8pm. During this time, parents can go out, grab a bite to eat, and enjoy each other while their kids are either caring for
younger kids or taking part in the fun, food, crafts and games, that will take over the fellowship hall. This is a free event
sponsored and staffed by NHB Studentz and other volunteers.
Men of Valor/Women of Virtue BanquetFeb21st @ 6pm
Our culture does not walk in step with Scripture where boys are challenged to become men that lead & serve, and girls are to
submit & be women of God. A special way to encourage these roles and values is a special banquet. Here the guys will
prepare a meal for the girls and be lead and served by the guys. A very special meal and time together.
Fundraisers

These fundraisers aid in summer projects such as mission trips to Fredericksburg or Henderson SOS.
