Introduction

huge demand for Tally professionals. Tally Student Subscription is a powerful service to advance
your career and bridging the gap between you and prospective employers. Now no need to rely
on references or consultants or even advertisements to find a job. With Tally Student Subscription
Career planning, Learning, Self Assessment and Jobs all in one portal.
Benefits of Tally Student Subscription

Tally Student Subscription opens up an exciting employment market for you to success, all you
need to do is subscribe and upload your resume. Your resume will be accessible by all Tally customers.
With the help of Tally Student Subscription you can:
View Job opportunities in Smalll and Medium Business (SMB) market and plan your career.
Identify jobs that suit your interest and capabilities.
Learn skills to prepare for the recruitment test during interviews.
Use the Self-Asssessment test to map your skills as per the respective job requirement.
How to Subscribe
Its a simple 3-step process.
Step 1: Buy Tally Currency from your nearest Tally Academy/Tally Partner
Step 2: Register on www.tallysolutions.com using the Activation key given on it
Step 3: Just go to www.tallysolutions.com and login using your Email ID as Login ID and
Password sent to you in your email ID.
Subscription Process
Click on Student Subscription link on the Tally web site.
Click the Register & Start button and enter the required details as shown below:

Students need to buy the Tally currency from the nearest Tally Academy or Tally Partner for subscription.
Students need a valid email id to register . The same email id will be

used to communicate with you in future.
Click the Subscribe button after providing all the required information for registration.

You have the option either to update your profile now or update it later after login to your
exclusive portal.
Click the Fill details now link to update your profile and change the visibility status to make
your profile searchable among prospective employers.

Click the Accept button after providing all the mandatory details.

Student Login
Once you have completed the student subscription process, you can login in to Tally Student Subscription home page by using your user name and password.
To log onto Tally Student Subscription home page, type www.tallysolutions.com in the Internet
Explorer and follow the steps given below :

Enter the User name (E-Mail ID) and Password in the Account Login screen (available
on the top left corner of the web site)
Press Enter or click on Login button to go to Tally Student Subscription Home Page
screen
After logging into the home page for the first time, students can change the existing password for security purposes.
The Password is sent to the student through Email. However, the student can
change the password, after logging into the student subscription home page.

Tally Student Subscription Home Page, is divided into various sections:

Job
Section
Profile Section
Career, Learning and Assessment
Job Section
Job section provides both basic and advanced way to simplify your job search so that you can
spend your precious time by just filtering the best jobs.
In this section you are also able to view the number of:
Jobs that match your profile
Jobs you have applied for
Profile Section
Profile section provides the count of your profile visibility to prospective employers, they can
review your profile and consider it, if matched with their job requirements.
In this section you are also able to know the number of:
No. of Employers who viewed your profile
No. of Employers who considered your profile
The count of your profile visibility to prospective employers is high indicates your
credentials are in high demand.
It also displays profile completeness and Date of last updation, It is advisable that you complete
your profile 100% and this means completing all given fields, A completed profile therefore has a
better chance of getting short-listed, as there are more fields available to be matched.

You can also view your profile the way you like it, Click on the Recruiterss View link to
view your profile as Recruiters view as shown below:

Career, Learning and Assessment

Career, Learning and Assessment section provides the suggested Industry roles and Available
skills for learning and assessment.
This section also displays the Last Assessment details to show the topic of assessment test
along with marks scored if the candidate has taken any assessment test previously.

Click on count of roles to go to Career Planning page, to plan your career by choosing the
desired industry roles from the list
Click Details link to go to Self-Assessment Centre page to evaluate your skills on various
topics.
Job Search and Apply

Tally Student Subscription provides two ways to search and apply for jobs that interest you and
also matched with your profile.
Basic Job Search
Job seekers can now search for suitable jobs and apply for that particular jobs based on
the Skills, designation, location etc., with the help of Basic Search option provided.

You can narrow your search by keywords like Tally, Accountant etc., enter the No of Years
of Experience and click the search link to list the matching jobs as shown below
You can include the jobs and industry you seek in the list of matching jobs by providing proper keywords

You can enhance your search results based on the Date, Location and Role.
You can view the Job details by just clicking the job.

Click the Apply for this Job button besides the job role, to apply for that particular Job.
You may mention the preferred time to receive call.

Advanced Job Search

You can also refine your search results using Advanced Search option available at home
page as shown below.

Enter the required details and click the Search button.
Latest job vacancies related to the keyword are displayed in the List of matching Job(s).

Each Job Posting on the portal also has the Apply link besides the job details, which you
may click if you wish to apply for that particular Job.
Once you have applied for a particular job, you can check the status (Already Applied) in
the List of Matching Jobs screen.
You may also apply for multiple jobs.
Refine your Job Search

It gives you a few more options to narrow your job search, including Date, Location, and Role. If
you have in mind a very specific job that you're looking for, this is where you want to start your
search.
Click the various options available under Refine Search Result link to further filter your
search.

Career Planning
During the process career planning, you will Identify possible Job roles, evaluate these Job roles
based on the Key Skills required and explore alternatives.
Click on Career Planning link (available at the left panel of the student portal) will displays
the List of Industry Roles in Tally Domain and the Key Skills required for each role.

You can view the details of the Industry Roles and Key Skills required by just clicking the
desired roles under the section Industry Roles in Tally domain.

Each Industry Role also has the Learn Now link besides the desired role, which you may
click if you wish to Learn the product by going through the online content and then assess
yourself using the self-assessment tests
You can also click the Go To Job Search link to view the List of Jobs Matching this role.
If you wish you can apply for that particular Job.
Learning Centre
Learning Centre helps you to improve the skills required for the desired job roles. The online
content will enable you to learn a specific topic and followed by a self-assessment tests.
It also offers links to Knowledge Base articles, Reference Manuals, Books and much more
online learning resources to fulfil your needs.

Click on Learning Centre link (available at the left panel of the student portal) will displays
the List of online content Topic with Average Self-Assessment Score.

To get started, simply click the desired Topic you are interested to learn or click the
Access Now link for the self-assessment tests.
Alternatively, you can click the link Nearest Tally Academy at top to search for Tally Academy at your location.
Online content can be viewed either in PDF format using Acrobat Reader or in
HTML format.
Click on Show Filters link, to filter the Learning Centre based on the desired Topic Name
and Industry Role. Refine your search results using various criteria as shown below.

Self-Assessment Centre
A Self Assessment Centre helps you to acquire the desired skills you need for a particular
industry role, also to figure out the skills in which you're good at. You can use the results of the
skills assessment test in your career planning.

Click on Self-Assessment Centre link (available at the left panel of the student portal) to
displays the List of Topic/Test Paper with My Last Score and Highest Score.

Click on Learn Now link to access the Learning Centre for the selected topic and to read
the online content in PDF or in HTML format.
Click on Access Now link to go for self-assessment test.

You can click on Go to Learning Centre link under Action link to study the
online material for the selected topic.
Click on Take Test link under Action link to start the Self Assessment test for the
selected topic.

Assessments Test is categorized into topics with multiple choice and true and false questions, and each question is assigned to different levels of difficulty and marks.
You can move through the assessment test, review the previous questions answered or
unanswered and pause the assessment test, if required.
Click the button Test Completed to see your scores immediately after taking the test.

Click Yes to submit your test paper now. Results (Score card) is automatically generated
and scored by the system.

Now you have the options to print your Score card, Repeat or Restart the same test paper
with same set of questions, if required.
Alternatively, you can click Go to Self-Assessment Centre link to repeat this learning
process until you have reached your desired level of proficiency.

Click the desired Topic/Test Paper to Re-start the Self Assessment test for the selected
topic.

Self-Assessment Centre tools option:
View Score Card: View the score card of the last test taken by student.
Print Score Card: Print the score card of the last test taken by student.
Repeat Test: Repeat the same paper with the same set of questions.
Restart Test: Repeat the same paper with the New set of questions.
Resume Test: Resume the test from the pause state.
GoTo Learning Centre: Access to Learning Centre online materials.
My Profile
My Profile is a detail view of your profile which can be categorized under various sections like
Contact details, Personal details etc., You can edit and complete your profile details wherever
required, make necessary changes and upload your new resume in word format to the portal, so
that it can be searchable among prospective employers.
Click on My Profile link (available at the left panel of the student portal) to display the complete profile with Profile completeness percentage(%).

The profile is now in the view mode, click on Edit link available for each section to change
to edit mode. You can now make necessary changes to your profile and click the Accept
button for the changes to take effect.

Click on Edit link under Resume Details section to either Download the existing resume
or upload a new resume.

You can Expand or Collapse the various sections as required.
My Preference
Students have the option of keeping their profile details and resume confidential until they express
interest in the Job.
Click on My Preference (Change Profile Visibility) link (available at the left panel of the
student portal), you have the options to change the visibility of your profile.

There are two Profile Visibility option that the job seekers can choose:1.
Visible: Your profile is searchable among prospective employers, employers will be able to
see the detail profile of the candidate.
2.
Hidden: Your profile is hidden from prospective employers, employers will not be able to
see the profile details.

Locate Nearest Academy
Click on Locate Nearest Academy link to search for Tally Academy at your location, If you
prefer to learn many structured courses on Tally.ERP 9 from an authorized TallyAcademy.

Change Password
The Tally student subscription page provides the change password option, using the option available, the student can also change the password as required.

Enter the Old password, New Password and Repeat Password in the Change My Password screen
Press Enter or click on Save button to Save the details.
