These vessels are all Standard designs for the Romulan's and should not be altered. When purchased for a
Romulan fleet cost 15% less than the listed VP.
Notes:
Ftr/Stle = Fighter/Shuttle bays This represents the total number of 'F' Hull Class the ship can carry or recover
and re-arm, The 'F' class Vessels must be purchased with the Admirals scenario VP to be loaded aboard at the
start of a game.
* AMH-D(8)* (# = maximum HDP after addition of armor).
**A Fighters one shot 'C' Class sub-munitions attack can only be fired as a single attack, but maybe fired into
the fighters Forward, Port or Starboard arc.
*** Mega- structure (Optional Rule) these vessels are made of multiple "rings" or modules.
To destroy s Mega vessel each ring must be completely destroyed!
In basic each ring add's one more HC layer of HDP to the vessels total HDP.
Each Tier cost the VP Bonus (xx%) listed in the VP Column for the vessel.
The maximum number of tiers is indicated in the HC Column in brackets (x#.
Each additional tier adds one extra WC and SC so a tier 3 vessel would have 3 primary weapons and 3 shields.
The SDP of all shields is added together and treated as one shield.
When a Mega vessel is reduced to 20% HDP or the vessels last tier (whichever is lower HDP Value) it is classed as
crippled.

Vessel Abilities - (Advanced game only)
Any vessel may be modified to different roles, how many roles a vessel has only depends on how much a
player will spend on it, bear in mind giving a vessel hundreds of abilities or roles will not make it last longer in
battle, hulls are only so tough (All VP calculation fractions are rounded to the nearest whole number to min 1
VP). overall cost for Romulan vessel's is calculated at -15% when selecting standard designs from the Romulan
vessel list for a Romulan Fleet only.
If building a Romulan Vessel using the vessel design rules the following abilities are added to the options
available for Romulan vessels and replace the normal rules listed in the Standard edition book.
Romulan Honor - Romulan's will never surrender or allow capture of their vessels, if A Romulan vessel is
crippled to 0 HDP and would become a hulk or be captured by boarding a Romulan will self destruct, no
morale check is made and vessel always explodes! so don't board Romulan vessels unless your marines are
suicidal, and don't get to close shooting at them!
(AMH(Class)) Armored Hull - (+25% SVP for armor level purchased ) The vessel has additional hull armor equal
to shield DP purchased, (armor class purchased) add the additional Armor SDP to the vessels HDP (acts as
additional HDP so will not repower), It may also have normal shields. I.e. Armor class C costs 2 Vp and adds 6
HDP.
(CLK) Cloaking Invisibility device - (+ 10% HVP) This vessel can use the cloaking rules to become hidden during
play.
(SC) Scout vessel - (+ 10% HVP) This Vessel may use scout systems (see scout vessel rules p27).
(PS) Plasma Sub-munitions - ( + 25% WCVP) not to be confused with Bombardment Sub-munitions, All
Romulan vessels carry Plasma torpedo's which are more powerful and able to penetrate vessel shields and
massively destructive , but have limited range Vessels gain +1 to shield penetration at medium range and +2
penetration and +50% damage at short range, However the weapon has no long range! The Romulan's can still
fire standard beam weapons over medium range. Plasma Sub-munitions are only available to 'C' Weapon class
higher(which means Romulan fighters can carry a one shop Plasma Sub).
(X- CLK) Improved cloaking shield - (+50% SVP) - Vessel may de-cloak, fire and re-cloak immediately
(but at -1 to hit).
