During Phase 1 of MTIS (Mahindra Telephonics Integrated Systems) I was acting as HR, Admin, Quality and Manufacturing manager for
about 4 months. Later I switched to full time role of Manager Manufacturing and Operations where I am managing Store, Shop floor,
Production planning, Manufacturing and Maintenance.

Bharat Electronics Ltd is a premier Defence Public Sector Company with a Navaratna Status. It basically caters to the high technological
needs of Indian Defence. I was working in EW&A (Electronics Warfare & Avionics) SBU of the company which specialized in
manufacturing of Airborne Electronics equipments, ranging from Flight Critical, Mission Critical and Communication devices to
Electronics Warfare equipments such as RWR (Radar Warning Receivers) and Ground control equipments.
I was responsible for Manufacturing, Assembly and Quality of all the above equipments.

Job Profile:

Led Assembly Section of Electronics Warfare & Avionics SBU of BEL, Bangalore Unit. Managing day-to-day affairs of section and leading
a team of about 40 operators.

Planned assembly activities for achieving the production targets before time.

Continuously re-engineered PCB assembly process such as SMT Mounting, Reflow soldering and wave soldering by implementing the

" Achievements

Successfully completed the assembly and quality operations of Flight and Mission Critical Equipments of 50 LCAs (Tejas) Aircrafts
Before-time, On-Quality this made into national news.

It made the delayed Tejas program a boast as the electronics being complete it give confidence to agencies for test
flights to be done on schedule.

Enhanced the productivity per operator by about 25% within 6 months by implementing Lean approach this contributed to a savings of
about 5 lakhs per month.

We reduced our staff strength by 20% from 40 to 32 as the replacement for senior operators who retired was not taken.

Completed manufacturing of prestigious DFCC (Digital Flight Control Computer), main computer of LCA (Tejas) - Indias Indigenous
Fighter Aircraft, which also made its successful maiden test flight on LSP-3 and delivered it On-Time. It was of great importance when
the overall Tejas project is getting delayed and each delay is costing a heavy price.

Optimized process of Acrylic Conformal coating up-to 6 Sigma level through SPC and Kaizen within a year and improved Polyurethane
Conformal coating process.
