Learning astrology is very much like learning a new language. First basic factors should be
understood systematically and with consistent practice one will become fluent in the subject
of learning. But Astrology is not a simple subject to deal. Most of the KP followers know
what is KP System and most importantly Ruling Planets which is the master piece in KP Astrology. The moment we think of Ruling Planets means it is only 5 components and this
becomes the primary ruling planets and they are:
Lord of the day
Moon Sing Lord
Moon Star Lord
Lagna Lord
Lagna Star Lord.
Nodes Rahu/Ketu acts as an agent. If any planet in close conjunction becomes a secondary Ruling Planet.
Note : The aspect of another planet on ruling planets is not considered.
Regarding Moon Sub and Lagna Sub as ruling planets:
They are considered as a option only and they come under Secondary Ruling Planets. If we
consider these two ruling planets, then there will be several planets appearing as ruling
planets and selection of fruitful significators will become a difficult task. So more emphasis
has to be given to 5 ruling planets only. Also we have to apply the ruling planets properly
while judging and fixing final selection of the ruling planets. So I will not deal elaborately on
this subject and our subject matter is how ruling planets play a very important rule in selecting the favourable Dasa, Bhukthi and Antara for the materialization of the life event under consideration. Here I am taking a marriage case to see how ruling planets help in fixing the favourabe Dasa, Bhukthi and Antara for the marriage timing.
Query Regarding Marriage:
Principle: If the 7th cuspal sublord signifies either house 2-7-11, then marriage is promised. Some KP followers has also considered house 5 and 8 but in my opinion 5 and 8 alone
will not give marriage without support of either 2 or 7 or 11.
We shall analysis the following chart step by step and come to a conclusion whether marriage is promised or not. If so then we can see which are favourable Dasa/Bhukthi/Antara
to be considered for timing of marriage.

Analysis of the Chart:
Here we have to consider the principle 7th cusp and most required houses for marriage and
we should see how the cuspal sublord of the 7th house plays a very important role.

Suppose if you take any cusp from 1st to 12th, there are three components.
Sign Lord -----

Star Lord ----- Sub Lord

In KP system we know very well that sublord plays a significant role for deciding the matter
whether it is a cuspal sublord or planetary sublord.
In the example chart the seventh house starts in Simha Rasi at 12-51-47 and ends in
Kanya Rasi at 18-25-57. So 7th cusp has fallen into Sun sign/Ketu star/Mercury sub.
The cuspal sub lord (CSL) of 7th cusp is Mercury, a deciding factor, located in house 12,
owner of houses 5,8. No planet is in the star of Mercury, and this Mercury is the CSL of 1-24-5-7-8-10. Mercury is in the star of Mars in 12, owner of 3,10, and in the sub of Jupiter in
6, owner of 2, 11 houses. So Mercury is promising marriage at both planet and sub level
by signifying 2,7 and 2,11 respectively.
Step-2
Consider the fourfold planetary significators of houses 2-7-11 as follows:1. Planet/planets in the star of occupants of the houses.
2. Occupants of the houses.
3. Planets placed in the star of owners of the houses.
4. Owner of the houses
Also consider the planets deposited in the sub of a planet who are significators of 2-7-11.

Step 2A:
Remaining planets deposited in the sub who happens to be a significator of 2-7-11.
Venus is in the sub of Saturn, who is a significator of 7.
Mercury is in the sub of Jupiter, who signifies 2, 11.
Total significators of 2,7,11 are Sun, Moon, Rahu, Jupiter, Saturn, Mercury, Ketu and Venus.
Step-3
Selection of fruitful significators
Select the common planets between ruling planets at the time of judgment and total significators for 2-7-11 (Marriage).

So common significators between total significators and ruling planets are:
Saturn, Rahu, Sun, Mercury and Venus.
These planets are favourable to offer marriage.
Step-4
Selection of fruitful Dasa/Bhukthi/Antara
At the time of judgment the native of the chart is running Mercury Dasa from 22-10-2009
till 22-10-2026, and current Bhukthi is Venus Bhukthi from 13-03-2013 till 12-01-2016.
At the time of judgment it is Jupiter Antara till 06-1-2015. In Venus Bhukthi remaining
Antaras are Saturn, Mercury, and Ketu. Event will not occur during Venus Bhukthi since
Sun is stronger than Venus in the RPs.
Next Bhukthi is Sun in Mercury Dasa which runs from 12-01-2016 to 17-11-2016. Sun
Bhukthi is selected for the eventbto occur since it is strong in the ruling planets and also in
the significators of 2-7-11. Under Sun Bhukthi two possible Antras are Rahu and Saturn.
Sensitive D/B/A
A) Mercury Dasa, Sun Bhukthi, Rahu Antara is from 11-3-2016 to 27-04-2016
B) Mercury Dasa Sun Bhukthi and Saturn Antara which start from 07-06-2016 till 26-072016
Step-5 Transit
At the end of March. 2016:
Dasa lord Mercury will be transiting in Pisces sign, in Mercury star and Rahu sub;
Bhukthi lord Sun in Pisces sign, in Mercury star and sub;
Antara lord Rahu in Leo sign, in Sun star and sub;
Moon in Sagittarius sign, in Ketu star and Mercury sub.
As the Dasa, Bhukthi and Antara lords and Luminaries Sun, Moon will be transiting in the
star or sub of these DBA lords or significators of 2,7,11, and node Rahu is generally stronger than planet Saturn, Rahu Antara from 11-3-2016 to 27-04-2016 is chosen for timing of
marriage.
Conclusion:
(1) Native's marriage is promised.
(2) Period of marriage will be during Mercury Dasa/Sun Bhukti/Rahu Antara between 11-32016 and 27-04-2016.
(3) There is a delay in marriage due to Punarphoo dosha and Saturn an/ Rahu in 7th
house.
