Project Stage- I
Project Demonstration Guidelines:
1. Each group must have their hardware/Software of their project at the time
of demonstration.
2. Summarise your project by the poster presentation also. The format of the
poster is shown below.
3. Duration of Project demonstration should-15-20 minutes for one group.
4. Each student in the group should be present during the demonstration
schedule.
5. Absent student or group will marked as ABSENT if he/she is not present at
the time of demonstration schedule.
6. Reports only in the prescribed format should be submitted before
the Demonstration.
One printed copy of Project Report (One for each Group) dully
signed by the Project Guide as per the prescribed format should
be submitted to the Project Evaluation Cell.
One copy of each Report should be retained by every student.
Report should be Computerized (Microsoft Word).
The entire poster must be mounted on a 3 feet x 2 feet foam-core board. The
poster does not necessarily have to fill the entire working area.
The board must be oriented in the "landscape" position (long dimension is
horizontal).
A banner displaying your poster title, name, and department (or class, if
appropriate) should be positioned at top-center of the board (see Figure 1).
Make it obvious to the viewer how to progressively view the poster. The
poster generally should read from left to right, and top to bottom. Numbering
the individuals panels, or connecting them with arrows is a standard
"guidance system" (see Figure 1).
Leave some open space in the design. An open layout is less tiring to the eye
and mind.
Poster sessions will be held at designated times where authors (students) will
have the opportunity to present their work.
Posters should be neat, concise and must be drawn on standard white chart
sheet.
The poster must have the same information as the submitted report.
Please make sure that the title and content of your poster matches the
information you submitted in your report.
The text and illustrations should be large enough to read from a distance of
two meters (six feet).
