We are now seeking a suitable candidate for the position of
Senior Executive Management Information System
Responsibilities
Manage and maintain computing infrastructure to sustain the requirements of the
university.

To proactively identify and develop in-house applications to ensure efficient University

operations.

Monitor and report on persistent IT problems using web based ticketing system and
measure performance using established service level agreement

Analyzing and improving the efficiency of currently deployed computer platforms

Qualifying new hardware and software packages involved in test execution and
automation

Develop robust, secure computing infrastructure including wired and wireless networks
and operational IT services

To expand the usage of collaborative technologies like Video-conferencing to ensure

integration and accessibility of all campuses

To lead pilot projects that identifies critical business and supports University wide systems
and users

To plan for and implement enterprise solutions to cater for needs to support to support
operational and strategic priorities of the University

Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and
initiatives

Key selection criteria

Bachelors in Information Technology
Certifications : MCITP, CCNA
Around 2 to 4 years of experience in IT Operations with 1 years hands on experience in
maintenance, operation, troubleshooting design, implementation and management
Working knowledge in IIS , LAMP Stack and database administration (MySQL, MSSQL or
Oracle)
Patient listener and a good communicator.
Quick learner and fast adaptation to technical changes.
Good problem solving skills
