Presentation Plaiting is required
Marshalling All riders are to present for gear check
prior to reporting to the appropriate
marshaller in the warm up area well
before their estimated riding time.
Riders who have not completed their C
certificate must report to gear check with
a parent, DC or Club Representative.
The dressage marshaller will call riders
for their test as appropriate. Riders must
be prepared to ride early if there are
scratchings in their ring.

CROSS COUNTRY
Course walks 7.30 & 10am
Meeting place for course walks Front of Canteen, announced over PA
Estimated start time Grade 1: 11am, followed by Pre Novice,
Grades 2 & 3, introductory, Grade 4 &
Training
Eliminated riders Must walk back to start line
Stewards briefing (time & location) 10.15am in front of canteen
Stewards boards Will be issued to DC’s or nominated
club representatives
Medical arm bands Compulsory – to be worn on left arm
only, with correct information
Body protectors Highly recommended for PC

Estimated start time Grade 1: 12 noon followed by Grades 2,
3&4
GENERAL
Entry Fees NO DISCOUNTS $25.00 incl ground/ambulance levy per
(Unless prior arrangement made rider/horse. 2nd horse less $5.00 for
through your Club DC) ambulance levy.
Entries Pony Club riders must be submitted via
DC’s. Open riders through STEA
Dogs Not permitted on grounds
Parking Parking is very limited, please park as
closely and safely as possible and as
directed.
Gates will be open at 7.00am
Canteen Full canteen will be available
Back numbers Will be issued when entry fees are paid.
Riders are to wear back numbers and
helmets at all times when mounted, even
in warm up. If the back number is not
returned you will be invoiced for the
replacement costs.
Scratchings All riders are to scratch via their DC at
the earliest possible time.
Protests If you have a query regarding your
score, you must refer it to your club DC
or club representative, who in turn will
follow it through on your behalf. Under
no circumstances are riders or parents to
approach the scoring team direct. Any
queries, including marshalling queries
must be referred to your DC or
nominated club representative.
Presentation Unmounted, riders are to wear full pony
club uniform to the presentation.
Ribbons will be awarded to fourth place.
Results These will be obviously posted on the
board during the course of the day.
They will also be placed on the Club
website at www.huntingfield.org.au the
following week for downloading etc

believe the ODE may be cancelled or
varied etc due to floods, bushfires,
extreme heat etc, you should check the
Club Hotline on 9539 4772. This
hotline is updated very quickly when
required so ensure you check it before
leaving home if in doubt
