Happy New Year!


We are looking forward to the new and exciting events we have
coming up for SHETA this year. From a farm tour later in the
year as well as some special plans for our STA Convention (details
to come!) and year-end social we hope to give you all a wide range
of opportunities to network with each other!
Lets start this year o at Fraser Heights Secondary School with
David Ulbrich, a pastry chef who has travelled the globe! Please

SHETA is planning our own field trip to Aldor Acres Farm
on April 16th, 2015! This event is free for SHETA members,
so mark your calendars now!

Canadian Symposium: February 27 - March 1


Many of us are looking forward to attending the Canadian
Symposium this year in Winnipeg, Manitoba. We are looking
forward to sharing our experiences from #sd36learn with
the rest of this countrys home economists. If you have any
experiences you would like to share or highlight from British
Columbia, please let us know!

We are always looking for submissions from all of you. Do
you have a great lesson or project to share? Do you have
inspirational anecdotes or tidbits from your classroom? Lets
share what we love to do in this district.
