MODULE I INTRODUCTION TO RADAR
Principle and Operation of Radar with block diagram Radar frequencies -Applications of
Radar -. Radar range equation -Simple problems. Prediction of range performance, minimum
detectable signal , effect of noise on receiver ,Signal to Noise ratio , Radar cross section of
targets,transmitter power, Pulse repetition frequency and range ambiguities
MODULE II TYPES OF RADAR
CW &FM Radar :- Doppler effect, CW Radar -side band superheterodyne receiver,Applications.
FM CW Radar FM-CW Altimeter.
MTI & Pulse Doppler Radar :- Operation and Block diagram of MTI employing Power
