Ted Fujimoto, President


Ted Fujimoto is President of Landmark Consul0ng Group, Inc., a
management and investment consultancy for scaling innova0ons in
learning. Clients include some of the most prominent founda0ons,
investors and innovators that span across educa0on, media,
entertainment, technology, distribu0on, content, energy and real
estate. Ted helped to design and create the replica0on systems and
strategy for several of the largest scalable, fastest growing, highest
performing public school designs in the country that created over 350
schools, including New Tech Network and Big Picture Learning. Big
Picture Learning, public schools located in some of the toughest urban
areas in America, are gradua0ng over 95% of their students of which
nearly 100% are being accepted to college. The New Tech Network has
created over 130 public schools and is opening 30 to 40 new schools
per year. President Obama recently visited one of these schools:
Manor, thats what every school should be. Thats what our country
should be.

Ted currently serves as Chairman of the Supervisory Commifee at the
California Credit Union, a $1.2 billion credit union. He is co-founder of
MuzArt World Founda0on and co-chairs the Right to Succeed
Founda0on, a non-prot focused on transforming public educa0on
through the crea0on of at least 6,000 American Dream Schools within
the next 10 years.

Early in his career, he was partner in the consul0ng rm that developed
the retail concept for the Saturn automobile brand and re-engineered
the retail networks of 11 automo0ve and hospitality brands. He also
created a na0onal commercial insurance cap0ve that insures over 1000
schools.

He has served on the California Educa0on Technology Advisory
Commifee, received the 2002 Center for Digital Government "In the
Arena Award for Educa0on Leadership in transforming vision to
reality, and in Converge Magazines "1999 Year in Review, Ted was
named one of "Educa0ons Dreamers, Leaders and Innovators."

John C. Guerra, Jr., Partner


Recognized by Hispanic business magazine as one of the 100 most
inuen0al Hispanics in the United States, John has long been ac0ve in
the community. Born in Corpus Chris0, Texas, John afended schools in
San Antonio, Texas and received his degree and cer0ca0on in Special
Educa0on from Texas A&I Kingsville. He then spent the next few years
teaching and working with mentally and physically challenged children
and adults.

John began his AT&T career in telecommunica0ons and informa0on
management in San Antonio, Texas. During his tenure with AT&T, he
worked throughout the United States, La0n America and Asia. His 29
years of experience included product development, product
management, sales, marke0ng, training and development, back oce
opera0ons, systems management, public rela0ons, public policy and
interna0onal market development. While with AT&T, he received his
execu0ve MBA training from NSEAD in France. He also played a key
role in AT&Ts philanthropic ac0vity serving as a trustee on the AT&T
Founda0on.

John has served on numerous boards including the YMCA, Hispanic
Associa0on of Colleges and Universi0es, Texas Associa0on of Mexican
American Chamber of Commerce (TAMACC), World Aairs Council,
Univ. of Tex. Pan Am Founda0on and the Texas Business Hall of Fame.
He received the rst Life0me Achievement Award from HISPA (the
AT&T Hispanic employees assoc.) and the Chairmans Leadership
Award from TAMACC. In addi0on to his professional and civic
achievements, John has been par0cularly recognized for his
presenta0ons on success and leadership, featured in both TV and radio
commercials, lectured at various school systems and major universi0es;
served as a prac00oner-lecturer on interna0onal marke0ng at the
University of Georgia and a featured speaker at domes0c and
interna0onal forums such as the Summit of the Americas, the Wall
Street Journals conference on La0n America, Hispanic Business CEO
roundtable, the Hispanic Police Commanders Associa0on Conference
and the Associa0on of College and University Business Ocers.

Adalberto Al Andino has built a 100-plus school network that


featured culturally and linguis0cally diverse curricula and instruc0on,
professional development for teachers and administrators and
research-based assessment protocols for La Raza community charter
schools and Early College High School Ini0a0ve. He was founding
Execu0ve Director for the Bill & Melinda Gates Founda0ons Millennium
Scholars Ini0a0ve where he developed, implemented and managed a
mul0-billion dollar program to increase the number of low-income
minori0es comple0ng college degrees and graduate programs. As Vice
President for Strategy and Development at Jobs for the Future, he
worked directly with the CEO/President to innovate organiza0onal
