forma base + -s
Por ejemplo:

Para los verbos que terminan en -y la -y se cambia a i y la estructura es: forma base + es. Por ejemplo:
His mother flies a plane. (fly)
Algunos verbos son irregulares en el presente simple. Por ejemplo:
I am happy at my job. (be)
She goes on business trips. (go)
He does his homework at the library. (do)
She has an important meeting. (have)
Para hacer un enunciado negativo, usa do / does + not + forma base:
She does not travel for her job.
I do not write many emails at work.
We do not mop the bedroom floor.
Not se puede contraer con do o does:
I don't want that job.
He doesn't sit at a desk to work.
Formacin de adjetivos
Los adjetivos se pueden formar a partir de verbos:
This job bores me. > This job is boring.
My job excites me. > My job is exciting.
Observa el uso del sufijo -ing.
Los adjetivos se pueden hacer negativos agregando el prefijo un-.
interesting > uninteresting
rewarding > unrewarding
happy > unhappy
exciting > unexciting
Conjunciones
Las conjunciones se usan para conectar ideas. Cada conjuncin conecta ideas de manera
diferente.

Los adjetivos superlativos terminan en -est.

del verboto allow y la preposicin to. La expresin indica que una accin es posible o se
permite.
Por ejemplo:

Players are allowed to turn up four cards at the same time.

principio de una oracin interrogatoria. Por ejemplo:

La palabra que se utiliza para crear preguntas sobre informacin especfica sobre las
personas,lugares u objetos. Se coloca al principio de una frase interrogativa. Por ejemplo:
What kind of injury did Montgomerie have?
Etiquetar preguntas
Etiquetar preguntas son formas cortas y contradas de preguntas
negativas o positivas. Tienen por objeto que el hablante verifique la
informacin. Esta informacin se indica en la primera parte de la
oracin.

Las preguntas de confirmacin negativas se construyen con verbos como be, do, have,
o can y el pronombre. Se encuentran al final de la oracin. Por ejemplo:
Cricket is popular in India, isn't it?
It's a bit like baseball, isn't it?
Players can have time to rest, can't they?

Podemos utilizar elpresente perfecto + desde y parapara hablar de canto tiempo llevamos
haciendo algo por.
Utilizamos:
desde: punto de partida en el pasado
y
para: periodo de tiempo
Por ejemplo:
I have been here since 5:00pm.
Comenz a esperar en un punto especfico en el pasado. Ahora son las 8:00 pm y sigo
esperando.
incorrecto: I have been here for 5:00pm.
I have been here for 3 hours.
3 horas es el periodo de tiempo que he estado esperando.
incorrecto: I have been here since 3 hours.

Preguntas indirectas
Preguntas indirectasson preguntas que usan lenguaje para distanciar al hablante de la pregunta. Se
utilizan en situaciones formales para ser corts.
Directa:
What is your opinion on me getting a job in banking?
Do you have any work experience in finance?
Indirecta:
I'd like to hear your opinion on the chances of me getting a job in banking.
I'd like to know why you're so interested in the banking industry.
Forma:
have / has + pasado participio
Por ejemplo:
I have worked or Ive worked...
He has worked or Hes worked...
I have not worked... / I haven't worked...
He has not worked... / He hasn't worked...
Compara:
I've spoken to the boss and he said it was ok to take some time off.
La informacin importante es I've spoken to the boss..., no when habl con el jefe. Este
es un tiempo indefinido, por lo que se utiliza el presente perfecto.
I spoke to the boss yesterday and he said it was ok to take some time off.
When I spoke to the boss.. se incluye aqu: yesterday es un tiempo definido en el
pasado por lo que se utiliza el pasado simple.
Las preguntas alguna vez por lo general son respondidas con formas cortas. Por ejemplo:

Gerundio e infinitivo
Algunos verbos son seguidos de infinitivos (para + verbo)y algunos verbos son seguidos
degerundios (verbo + -ing).

Por ejemplo:

Expresando preferencia
Hay muchas maneras de expresar preferencia en ingls. Una estructura til es:
sujeto + verbo + gerundio / infinitivo + objeto.
Por ejemplo:
I love watching sitcoms.
I hate watching sports programs.
I prefer to watch documentaries.
Alternativamente, el sustantivo puede venir directamente despus del verbo para expresar
las preferencias.
sujeto + verbo + objeto
Por ejemplo:
I love television.
I like game shows.
I can't stand reality TV.
Algunos verbos en gerundio para expresar preferencia:
I can't stand watching sports programs.
Algunos verbos adoptan ya sea el gerundio o el infinitivo:
I like watching sports programs. / I like to watch sports programs.
I hate watching sitcoms. / I hate to watch sitcoms.
I prefer watching the news. / I prefer to watch the news.
