IMPLICATIONS OF NIHILISM.

Nihilism is one of the schools of philosophy that deals with the word: EMPTY. In terms of this, a person
who believes in the said belief is tend to believe in nothing, but there are also implications that can be seen
in a person whos a nihilist.
1. No hope.
Nihilists tend to be more skeptical in terms of being in a state of NOTHING, and this also affects a
persons life, and his way of living, since he believed that everything didnt even exist in this world.
In short, he has no hope in life, due to the fact that he only pertains to himself as the perfect being
in this universe. Moreover, these are people who dont believe in miracles, or even in true
happiness.
2. No love.
We people love our family, and friends, but nihilists dont show this kind of attribute, because love
for them is nothing. Nihilists think that love is nothing but a pile of junk, and it is an illusion that
deceives people, and just an act of stupidity that makes others more happy and content about their
own lives when they experience love to someone.
3. No meaning for ones existence.
According from the Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy, nihilism is a theory of pessimism, and
radical skepticism that abandons or denounces EXISTENCE. Take note of the operative word:
EXISTENCE. Nihilists didnt believe that they exist in this world, because they live in a world that is
nothing in between, and they didnt know they are created by God. In likes of this, even they
believe in nothing, both nihilists, and atheists, are all a lot alike, since they share the same principle
of not believing in a certain god or an image. Also, this explains that beauty does not really exist in
the human self.
4. Absolute glorification of self.
Narcissism is an expression of ones self, and expressing his/her attributes making him/her perfect.
This has something to do also with nihilism. Aside from believing in emptiness, they also take pride
of themselves by glorifying their own attributes that they have, and they wanted to keep it that way,
since they are pertaining to themselves as creatures with perfect distinctions. One example of this
are the North Koreans, since they are also nihilists by praising their own works, their own
achievements, strengths, and even their pride as Koreans fighting for their sovereignty. They are
actually living based from their passions and instincts that keeps them in control of their own lives.
That explains the Juche idea that has been used by the Kims of North Korea ever since 1912. The
ideology of this is that PEOPLE ARE THE MASTERS OF THEIR OWN FATE.
5. Renunciation of authority and rules.
Nihilists believe in nothing, so they dont also believe in rules and regulations. Nihilism actually
originated in Russia, and in fact, many of the people there are nihilists, including some who are
also anarchists who wanted to crush the czarist rule. Nihilists denounce authority, and rules of the

state, church, etc. Correlately, Nietzsche told that the ethics being practiced will take its toll as it
runs down to the religious, and morality.
6. Pride and power as the driving force of life and existence.
Nihilists can believe in nothing, but can make trouble out of something. They tend to destroy
something that can corrupt the minds of the people surrounding that particular area. Aside from the
culture of other towns, the nihilists wanted to take advantages of having power as their weapon to
rule a nation and propagate the assurance of believing in ho God. They just believe on what they
wanted to have, but on a positive scale, they are independent, they can reason out points, and can
bump up with other beliefs pertaining that their belief is false. Also, nihilists wanted to gain pride,
fame, and honor by conducting a war that can rage right now, or sooner. Their main goal is to have
absolute control over everything that is upon them, including the state.
