Candidate Profile Expectations for the Full Time Business Research Internship
with us (Non Negotiable)
Third Year & Final Year BE/B.Tech students with the following profile can apply:Value systems & work ethics that believes in unflinching integrity,honesty,willingness to
work hard,ability to commit & honour commitments made in letter & spirit, under all
circumstances.
Good Academic Credentials (Aggregate average >= 85% marks in Class X & XII, if
from CBSE/ICSE & >=90% marks if from other backgrounds AND a Graduate level
CGPA of atleast 7/10). However, we are qualification agnostic & value experience
diversity.
Good Extra/Co-Curricular credentials at school & college, with demonstrated
leadership potential.Superior quality,verbal and written communication skills.
A voracious reader and a fast learner, who enjoys intellectual rigour.
If you have taken CAT/XAT, a 90 or higher percentile score. If you have taken GMAT,
a score of atleast 720. ( If your profile matches/exceeds these scores, you could apply
regardless of your Class X/XII & Grad marks)
Candidates with IITJEE AIR <=3000 OR AIEEE AIR <= 5000 OR BITSAT score above
325 OR graduate GPA above 9.0 OR X & XII average > 95% can apply regardless of
other academic criteria.
Also, CAT/XAT aspirants who are taking CAT/XAT this/next year & are aiming for
IIM/XLRI admits (Targeting >99 percentile CAT/XAT scores) & are looking to gain
excellent experience (Phenomenal resume value ! ) prior to joining IIM's/XLRI are also
welcome to connect.
Interns could be currently studying/ could have completed their degrees in the recent
past (2-3 years).
Required Skills :Ability to hunt for data on various Internet sources and analyse/present the same in a
professional manner, at short notice.
Passion to excel and willingness to work hard for it. A rare blend of ambition &
values.Enterpreneurial mindset.
Maturity to understand that there are no shortcuts to sustainable success.

Role Profile : The selected candidate will be trained to work on specific secondary
research projects that amongst others involve, tracking Industries/Sectors/Specific
companies/Executives on pre-determined parameters and presenting the results in
agreed to formats on a regular basis. The exact details, will be shared with the selected
candidate(s).
The role on offer will excite exceptional candidates, who enjoy learning about new
businesses, industries, companies, and executives across geographies & delivering
results under intense pressure and high expectations from them.
Primary Sector Focus :- Technology & Telecommunications, Banking & Financial
Services, Asset Management & Private Capital Management.

Additional Information:- The role involves working long hours in our office(T.Nagar,
Chennai), six days a week for atleast 2 months.Only candidates who can commit on
these need to apply.
Internship Duration - Varies from 2- 6 months. Will be discussed with the selected
candidate based on their availability & our projects.
Internship Stipend :- A consolidated block stipend paid @ INR 10000 per month of
internship based on the candidates profile, performance & duration of the internship,
will be offered, upon completion of the internship. If the selected student is not able to
complete the internship fully for any reason whatsoever, experience
certificate/internship stipend would NOT be provided.
Internship Location :- Chennai. Students will have to make their own arrangements for
travel, stay, food etc.
Process of Selection :- Given the nature of our work, we are extremely selective in
hiring and are looking for the crme de la crme of the students passing out from some
of the finest colleges in India. We take our recruiting process very seriously, seeing this
as a potential source of future leaders for us. Our process in detail :- (Strives to
eliminate casual applicants) :a)A web link to a detailed Application Blank will be shared with you. ALL interested
students should complete this Application Blank (Including their scanned Photograph)

within the specified timeline. The web link would be active ONLY for the specified
timeline.
b)Based on a detailed review of the same, shortlisted Applicants will be invited to attend
our telephonic PPT.
c)Candidates who choose to attend our selection process after the PPT are put through
Three/Four rounds of interviews (Including a presentation by students), with refined
shortlists at the end of each round.
For the General Management Internship, the first round would be a discussion on their
General Business Knowledge & on Major International Current Affairs. The second
round a Presentation based Interview and the final round, a One to One Personal
Interview.(Skype/Google Hangout).The entire process will be completed in one/two
days.
Compensation Offered for students who get a Pre Placement Offer with us :Based on the candidates performance, the total compensation offered for a good
performer who works with us for atleast 30 months is expected to be upto INR 22
Lakhs paid over a period of 30 months. This includes potential early stage stock
options worth upto INR 4 Lakhs & expected to have excellent upside performance
potential.
We expect to hire potential employees PRIMARILY through the Internship route. Hence,
if a candidate is really interested in being a part of our team, they SHOULD apply for the
Summer Internship,
Service Contract :- ALL interested candidates seeking a permanent full time role (NOT
while applying for an internship, but applicable if & when you apply for a permanent
position AFTER completing the internship) with us are expected to sign a legally valid
service contract for a value of INR 2 Lakhs, committing to work with us for alteast 24
months. We are open to waiving this contract if the selected candidate is offered
admission into any premier Business School in
India/Internationally within these 24 months & can provide us bonafides of joining the
same. Details will be discussed in our presentation. In ALL other cases, the service
contract will be STRICTLY enforced. Only candidates who can commit to work with us
for atleast 24 months, need to apply for a permanent, full time role with us.
