FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT
1. GENERAL GUIDELINES
The 4th Annnual, SAMA-SAMA GAMES will be played in accordance with the applicable
rules of FIFA.
The Organizers and Boracay Terraces Resort (BTR) will assume no responsibility for injuries
and ailments which may occur before, during, or after the tournament.
2. SCHEDULE AND VENUE
a. The SSG will be played on May 15-17 2014 from 8:00 a.m. 5:30 p.m.
b. All games will be played at the beachfront of Boracay Terraces Beachfront on
specially erected playing field
c. Players will play without footwear
d. All participating teams MUST BE at venue 30-mins before their game time.
Failure to be present during kick-off may result in your team forfeiting game and
being disqualified from event
3. ELIGIBILITY OF PLAYERS/TEAM LINE UP
Each team can register a maximum of 10 players per team for beach football. Prior to the
start of the tournament games, all teams are required to submit their team line-up.
Minimum age is 16 years old, unless otherwise agreed by event organizers.
7 of 10 registered players must be born after May 14th 1989
4. MATCH REGULATIONS
a. All games will be played 5 a-side. A team needs 3 players to start a
game.
b. In and out substitution is allowed. (Flying substitutions.)
c. There will be no offside calls.
d. Pass back to the goalie is allowed. (Six seconds rule applied for the
goalkeeper.)
5. MATCH POINTS
Win 3 points
Draw 1 point
Loss 0 points
In case of ties after the round robin, the tie shall be broken as follows:
a. Goal Difference
b. Goals For / Goals Scored
c. Goals Against
d. Winner over the other
e. Sudden death penalty kick (3 kickers per team)
6. AWARDS
The event will have a prize-fund worth over P150,000 made up of goody bags for all
teams and special prizes and awards for winning teams and those who best embody the
spirit of the SSG.

Final 3 players can be born on any date

WAIVER
The Organizers of Sama-Sama Games and Boracay Terraces Resort assume no
responsibility for the injuries and ailments which may occur before, during, or after
the tournament. Players and Clubs are responsible for appropriate Insurance for pre,
during, after event.
