Description of duties: The Trustees of the University of the South attend the annual meeting of the Board of Trustees, promote church support and student enrollment, and report to the annual Council the condition and progress of said University. William Thomas Campbell, member of St. Lukes, San Antonio Qualifications: As an alumnus (Class of 2007) of The University of the South, University Alumni Arcadian (William volunteered to represent Sewanee to prospective students and their parents at local college fairs), and a member of an owning diocese, William is kept abreast of news and needs of the school at home and on The Mountain, and therefore, he feels qualified to help guide the university in a positive direction. St. Marks, San Antonio Qualifications: Tom attended Sewanee for three years and has always thought the school set much of the framework for how he has tried to live his life. The honor code was a real and viable part of his education process. St. Marks and the diocese have always had a strong connection to Sewanee. Serving as Trustee would allow Tom to give back and also maintain strong connections with the diocese.
