1)

Prior to attempting to update the PiMPro Software open the System Configuration
Menu by depressing the Configure System icon on the Main Menu.

2)

Once the System Configuration Menu is visible depress the About icon.

3)

Please note the Software Revision and Firmware Revision shown in the About
Window.

Compare the Firmware Revisions to the table below:

If the firmware on your PiMPro unit does not match the required firmware version
in the above table, DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE SOFTWARE UPGRADE!!! Please
contact CCI to return your unit to the factory for an upgrade.

6)

If the firmware on your PiMPro unit does match the required firmware version in
the above table, you can upgrade to the latest software by following the instructions
as noted below.

Open Web Browser and go to CCIs website (www.cciproducts.com)

8)

Locate and click on Products Tab at the top of the CCI Webpage. Then scroll down
to PIM Analyzers/PIM Testers on the pull down and left click on it.

9)

The initial PIM Tester Product Page is now visible. Move the pointer over the PIM
Tester information to highlight it, and click on it.

10) Now the main PIMPro PIM Tester Product Page is visible. Left click on Download
PiMPro Software - Release 4.8.3 (or the latest version) as shown.

11) This opens the File Download pop-up window shown below. Left click on the Save
button, and be sure to save to a removable disk (USB memory stick).

12) Insert USB memory stick into PIM-Pros front USB slot.

13) Proceed to Configure System icon on opening software screen and depress it. This
will open the System Configuration screen shown in step 8.

14) On the System Configuration screen depress the S/W Update icon. This will open
up the Software Update screen shown in step 9 below.

15) Highlight the correct software version on the USB stick. Note that the software
found on the USB stick is identified by the [USB] indicator following the name.
Highlight it and depress the Install Version icon. The system then will ask you to
confirm. Select OK and let the system run through its full install cycle which will
automatically reboot the PiMPro.

16) Youre done! If you would like to verify that the software revision operating on your
PiMPro unit is correct, please follow steps 1 & 2 above to view the software and
firmware revisions in the About window. Please see step 17 below for the Main
Menu Screen that will be present from S/W Revision 4.8.3 and up.
