being heard must be based on God's mercy and His love for men. Even if we stand
at the very summit of virtue, it is by mercy that we shall be saved.

Sunday, Jan 24th. Following words are from the Eparchial Chancery letter:
“The horrific earthquake and its aftermath in Haiti has sent our hearts reeling in
disbelief and sadness. Our hearts seek to help those who possess very little as it
is and have lost almost everything. The enormity of this disaster demands a
response from us as individuals and as the Faithful of our Byzantine Catholic
Church who reach out in the name of Christ! Therefore, special collection is
from the Eparchy will be sent to the Catholic Relief Service for their timely use
in helping the earthquake victims. Please make checks payable to our parish, we
will send it to the Eparchy on Monday, Jan 25th.”

Liturgy is celebrated for the deceased and the names of our deceased are read
during the Panachida Service after the Divine Liturgy. Please bring your list to
