WHAT IS BIOREMEDIATION?
Basically, bioremediation utilizes specific bacteria (bio)
to completely
p
y digest
g
a varietyy of contaminants
(remediation).. Bioremediation has been widely used
(remediation)
within the petrochemical industry since the midmid- 1980
1980s
s..

WHAT ARE BIOREMEDIATION PRODUCTS?

How did We get Here?

[USAF-ESOH; 2008]

BIAP, 2004: Large release from a 210 fuel bag resulted in a

sizable digdig-n-haul of contaminated soil
soil. Rain later filled the hole &
POL was lifted from the soil. Below, bioremediation product is
being applied to remediate the remaining contaminants in situ.

M-B FOG

M-B FOG for treatment of Fats,

Oils, & Grease, is a nonnon-toxic
formulation of biological activators
and selected nonnon-pathogenic
microbes that solves restaurant
drainage line problems caused by a
buildup of fats, oils, and grease in
commercial kitchens and drain lines.
It eliminates odors and prevents
grease buildup in grease traps.

[USAF-ESOH; 2008]

(USCENTAF - UNCLASSIFIED 2005)

MB FOG

MB FOG is also used in municipal

collection lines,, lift stations,, and
wastewater treatment plants to keep lines

free flowing,
wastewater treatment plants more

efficient and effective byy treating
waste before it gets to the plant.
