This report outlines the basis of design, estimated requirements, Proposed system, other
requirements and estimated cost.

Ground and Mezzanine floor of each left and right wing to be air-conditioned.

5.

System Design :

5.1

It is proposed to install central chilled water system to aircondition the entire shopping
area of left and right wing.

5.2

Main airconditioning plant will be consist of 4 Nos. 60 TR (Nominal) capacity aircooled

reciprocating chillers along with 6 Nos. chilled water pumps (two standby).

5.3

The main plant will be installed in the Service area in open space.

5.4

Main plant will supply chilled water to various areas on each floor using M.S. `C class
insulated chilled water piping.

5.5

All shopping Hall will have unitary AHU according to requirements. Other area will also
be feeded by AHUs.

G.I. sheet steel ducting will be used to supply conditioned air to various area supply and
return air grill/diffuser will be of extruded Aluminium duly powder coated.

5.7

The system will be complete with electrical panel board with cabling and earthing.

Power Requirements :
Complete system of airconditioning will require 400 kw of 3 Ph, 415 volts, 50 Hz A.C.
supply and 3 Ph/1 Ph supply will be needed for AHU.

7.

Water Requirements :
As the system is aircooled, water is not required.
