COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (CIIT) announces 22nd workshop on Project
Management Professional (PMP) from 12th January to 16th January, 2015 (5 Days Intensive).
The workshop is designed to prepare the participants for the PMP certification, by Project
Management Institute (USA). PMP is the most prestigious certification for Project Management
and considered as a standard internationally.
PMP certified recourses have become a necessity for organizations throughout the world as they
share a common language regardless of their industry and geography, whether they manage
projects, programs or portfolios. This common language allows them to follow a uniform project
management approach defined by PMI (www.pmi.org).

Salient features about the PMP workshop

1) The participants would be awarded with certificate of 35 Professional Development Units
(PDUs), a prerequisite for PMP exam and the highest rated credentials on project
management.
2) The course is based on New Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) 5th Edition.

3) The workshop would be conducted by Mr. Suhail Iqbal (PE, PMP, PgMP, RMP, MCT). An
experienced veteran and certified PMP instructor who has already conducted over 200
workshops and seminars on project management. He is also on PMIs Advisory Group for
Leadership Development called LIAG and a member of PMI Pakistan Chapter.
4) Each participant would receive a PMP preparation kit including complete course material for
PMP preparation, handbag and necessary stationary.
5) The participants would be served with meal and refreshments during the course.
6) The workshop is for Project Managers, Directors, Team Leaders, Team Members,
Administrators and all other stack holders contributing at any stage of the project.
7) The course fee is Rs. 32,000/-, payable in the form of Pay Order/Demand Draft in favor of
CIIT, Islamabad.
8) The venue for the workshop is NIBAF Auditorium, Sector H-8 near Shifa International
Hospital, Islamabad.
