Entrepreneurship Development from 18 29 March, 2013 at NITTTR, Chandigarh.

Greetings from NITTTR, Chandigarh!
Entrepreneurship Development and Industrial Coordination (EDIC) department of NITTTR
Chandigarh is organising a 2-week FDP on Entrepreneurship Development (sponsored by
Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India) from 18 29 March, 2013 at NITTTR
Chandigarh. The main objective of conducting this FDP is to create awareness and appreciation
among teacher participants about entrepreneurship development, developing attitude, skills, and
knowledge for setting up and effective management of micro, small, and medium enterprises
(MSMEs). The participating teachers shall be trained and motivated during this FDP so that they
can teach entrepreneurship to the students in their respective colleges and motivate some of them to
become successful entrepreneurs. Therefore, this training programme is highly beneficial for
participating teachers to get orientation training and motivate their students. Thus, they will
spearhead the movement of entrepreneurship development in their institutions and the country as a
whole.
In view of immense importance of entrepreneurship development in todays changing economic
scenario, you are requested to sponsor 2-3 teachers of any discipline from your college for attending
this FDP. There are 25 seats in this FDP and admission will be given to teachers on first-cum-first
serve basis. You are requested to send us the list of sponsored teachers so that they can be
contacted individually. The sponsored teachers may please be advised to confirm their participation

It is worthwhile to mention here that NITTTR Chandigarh will pay TA/DA restricted to AC III tier train
fare to all the sponsored teachers (both private and government) for attending this FDP as per its
rules and no fee will be charged from any participants.
An early line confirming the list of sponsorship of teachers from your engineering college will be
highly appreciated at our end.
