OBJETIVOS
AUDIENCIA
Diseado para Gelogos, Geofsicos, Estratgrafos, Bioestratgrafos del
Instituto Colombiano del Petrleo (ICP) segn los requerimientos especificados
en la solicitud para los Programas de Capacitacin dirigidos al Cierre de
Brechas de Competencias.
CONTENIDO
TEMA 1: Introduccin: Paleogeografa y Sntesis Estratigrfica Clsica.
El Actualismo Geolgico, el Principio de Sobreposicin de los estratos, la
Polaridad Geolgica y los criterios para reconocerla. Las unidades
estratigrficas: unidades litoestratigrficas, unidades bioestratigrficas,
unidades cronoestratigrficas, unidades geocronolgicas y criterios para
definirlas. Conceptos de Isopa y Heteropa. Significado estratigrfico de los
fsiles: mtodos de datacin de las rocas, cronologas relativas y cronologa

los alcances de los objetivos especficos propuestos y en las aplicaciones
correspondientes.
