How to install the best configuration for your device!

1. If you're running Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.x on your GT-I9000, you must
flash STOCK FIRMWARE GB. This is a must. Download it from
Samfirmware.com
2. If you're running Gingerbread 2.3.x on your GT-I9000, you don't need
to flash Stock Firmware.
3. BE ADVISED! THE FOLLOWING CONFIGURATION ERASES/WIPES/DELETES ALL YOUR
DATA(SMS, PHONE NUMBERS, APPS etc.) ON YOUR PHONE, INCLUDING THE MAIN SD CARD
BACKUP ALL YOUR DATA WITH TITANIUM BACKUP! If you can move your contacts
to your sim card, and backup all your messages with SMS Backup Pro.
4. NOW, LET'S GET STARTED! :D
5. No matter, what you are currently running, open ODIN V. 1.85 and sele
ct at PDA - Tornado_Aureus_Gold.tar. Repartition UNTICKED. AUTO-REBOOT UNTICKED.
6. Boot your device into Download Mode ( Volume Down + Home Key + Power
Button ) and connect it to PC
7. Wait until Odin says ADDED! HIT START, it will be completed in a few
seconds.
8. Disconnect it from PC. And boot into recovery ( Volume UP + Home Key
+ Power Button )
9. BE 100% SURE YOU HAVE BACKUP-ed all your PHONE. Including SD CARD!!
10. Go to Tornado Wipe System, and wait until it will complete. When com
plete go back to main recovery screen.
11. Go to /mount and storage/mount usb (or something like that)(the last
line down there) and connect your device to PC.
12. It should show a blank SD Card. That's yours. Now, copy the Jetpack
8.2 JW1 Rom WIPE.zip on your sd card. It will take over 1 min.
13. When finished, disconnect it, and click UNMOUNT in recovery. Go back
to the main recovery screen.
14. Go to /tornado features/Reboot into RECOVERY. This is a MUST! Otherw
ise it will not install the rom.
15. Once again into recovery go to /install zip from sd card and choose
Jetpack ROM.zip file.
16. It will start flashing. Please be patient. I'll take 2 to 3 minutes
to install.
17. Once it's done, go back and /reboot system now.
18. While booting up, BOOTANIMATION with JetPack Rom IS GOING TO Dissape
ar after 10 secs. Don't worry. It's normal.

19. First boot may take some time, so be patient.

20. After booting up, go to recovery by long pressing the home button an
d selecting the RECOVERY option.
21. This time, recovery menu will be orange. Go to /mounts and storage/m
ount USB storage and connect your phone to PC.
22. Copy Stock 1.2.0 CWM I9000.zip to Sd card. NOTICE THAT YOUR SD CARD
is clean again :)
23. Unmount, go back to /mounts and storage and MOUNT all things (data,
dbdata, system etc.) Somethings cannot be mounted like sd-ext
24. Go back and /install zip from sd card. Choose Stock 1.2.0 CWM I9000.
zip and wait untill it will be finished.
25. Reboot system now.
26. Go to recovery again by holding the home button and selecting Recove
ry Menu.
27. Go to /mounts and storage/mount USB Storage and connect your phone t
o PC
28. Copy my own Ice Cream Sandwich JW1 Theme called BlackLineAndroidHD I
CS JW1 Theme.zip to your sd card.
29. Unmount go back and /flash .zip from sd card , choose my theme and w
ait.
30. This boot will also take a while. Enjoy my theme! :)
31. After booting up, long press Power Button and select DOWNLOAD.
32. Connect your phone to PC and flash the same kernel, in the same way.
This time leave AUTO-REBOOT thicked.
33. Stock Galaxy S BootAnimation will appear, since this kernel does not
support bootanimations.
34. Once booted up, go to recovery.
35. Go to /Tornado features/and convert to EXT2. (There are 3 lines - Co
nvert to RFS, EXT2 and EXT4)
36. Afterwards, go and Convert FileSystem(or something like that) It sho
uld say it will convert after rebooting.
37. Reboot the system, and a menu will appear. Select EXT2 there. Wait,
it will auto reboot after it finishes.
38. If you want your launcher to look like mine, download Launcher PRO P
LUS v. 0.8.6, MetroStation and Desktop Visualiser from PlayStore.

ur desired app will fit the best and download it.
- How to use Desktop Visualizer : Open application, and in the LAUNCH select A
CTION, and then Launcher App. Select what app you want to have on your homescree
n. Go and select the desired icon and hit OK.
- On the second page, I have the PowerAmp ICS Skin 2X2, and TaskKiller Widget.

- Go to Launcher Pro Setiings/Appearance Settings/Dock background/Custom and s
elect your dock background.
- Dock Icons can be changed by long pressing them and selecting Change Icon.
