Overview of the proposal and the projectAdvanced diploma qualification will have three levels. (a) Advanced diploma in Industrial Plant
Technology Level I, (IPT1). (b) Advanced diploma in Industrial Plant Technology Level II, (IPT2).
And (c) Advanced diploma in Industrial Plant Technology Level III, (IPT3).
Courses for the three qualifications can be pursued in continuation or in three parts whichever
way suits the candidate and the sponsor.

Nature of the three levels are compared in the table 1 above, a candidate can pursue all three
levels in continuation or he can do the three levels on different times, he may wish to do one or
two or all three levels whatever way he or she decides.

ADIPT Level II- This level introduces the candidate with the area of his interest
and choice, what are the broad areas of operations in the selected area?, what are the
activities performed by different sections of an industrial plant? What are different
positions and options available for an engineer? How a fresh graduate can prepare
himself to face sector specific interview/selection process.

System description
System is necessarily a feedback assisted system to ensure continuous improvement
throughout the operation and award of the qualification. It works in the following way as shown
in Figure 1.
B. Pretest.
Pretest is designed to ensure that the candidates enter any level only if fit for the level.
In case a candidate has gaps, then he shall first finish a foundation training to become
fit to enter the advanced diploma qualification program.
etc. AND have successfully been assessed competent under the detailed performance
objectives laid down in appendix under respective qualifications.
Awarding and assessing body will be a registered society, with the sole objective of
giving services of assessing candidate performance in different fields of work and
professions.
Training and Development Body
Training and development body is any entity, individual, set of experts or society
imparting the training, for the present situation the training and development body will
be formed mainly from and around Yavatmal region. Candidates are free to learn from
any training organization, only condition is that they must demonstrate qualification
passing skill to the qualification awarding body. On successful completion of the
assessment candidate could be certified and awarded Advanced Diploma in the
respective field.
Transition Team to Start the courseIn the present state there is no approved document on Qualification Assessment and
Award Body, nor the training team has been completely formed, hence the venture will
begin by a minimum team of two consisting of one member each from JDIT and
Industrial Plant Training Consultants IPTC, already this team has been working for quite
some time resulting in the proposal. IPTC is being represented by Mr. Abdul Sami Abdul
Latif CEO of the company and skill & competency expert. JDIT is being represented by
Dr. S. Bhalerao. Present team of two will look into the process of further developing the
system. During the period expansion of the team will also take place and a network of
qualified people will be formed for the purpose.
Note- This is a proposal not a complete manual of the proposal, complete manual shall
be developed after formation of required teams.
Further work required(1) Course material/course books, other media to be immediately arranged for
running the transition program.
(2) Deciding and arranging the logistics for the participents.
(3) Deciding the norms of the qualification award and assessment system.
(4) Standardization of the system.
(5) Deciding financials.
(6) Formation of the training team and scheduled global networking.
(7) Design of feedback system.
(8) Simulation and test of the system.
(9) Finalizing the operating manual for advanced diploma qualifications.
