The Kialift Master Controller is an intelligent microprocessor based controller that provides advanced features
normally only found in larger commercial type elevator controllers. Manufactured in several versions ranging
from 3 level to 6 level formats and a range of program options, this controller can be configured to control
almost any type of elevator ranging from small domestic water hydraulic to commercial oil hydraulic, spindle
and cable elevators.
Set up is simple via the on-board two line by 16 character LCD display. Using the vast menu such things as
door open timer, park level, door lock shut off control and many other parameters can be set and customised
on site. A large selection of fault diagnostics is also available via the menu. Inputs and outputs, safety circuits,
data buses and faults are indicated via colour coded LEDs for fast visual feedback of system status. Status is
also shown on the LCD in plain English.
All connections to the controller are made via quick connect pluggable connectors. The landings, car top, car
bottom, pit, and car controllers are connected by standard RJ45 connectors to CAT5 or CAT6 type cable.
Valves, light control, fire alarm input and auxiliary IO are connected using screw type 5mm pitch pluggable
connectors. Mains power and pump are connected using screw type 7.5mm pitch pluggable connectors. The
telephone connects via an RJ12 telephone connector.
Cable testing is a breeze via the built in
CAT5/6 cable tester. This enables all cables
to be tested to ensure no faults are present
before they are connected to any modules.
RF remote control of the elevator is an add
on option, and any NPN or relay output
remote control that runs from 5VDC or
12VDC can be interfaced to the controller
via an RJ45 connector. This provides 6
inputs (one for each level) and also manual
control of the elevator up and down when in
installer mode.
Battery backup is a standard feature and
real time dynamic battery testing is carried
out once every 24 hours and the battery is
monitored continuously.
Independent 12VDC input is provided to
power the PIT light from a separate house
supply.
Both hard wired processor independent and
processor monitored soft safety circuits are
included in the controller. All IO connection
points are fused by solid state poly fuses
that will self-reset once the fault is removed
and the system is repowered.
