Feb. 4, Wed.-Youth Bible Study will meet at the church at 7 p.m.
Feb. 5 & 10, Thurs. & Tues.-Open House at Hinkletown Mennonite School
Pre-K through Middle School-9 a.m.-8 p.m. Visit HMS and connect with a school
community that nurtures the whole child, provides opportunities for students to

discover their unique gifts and encourages them to grow in faith and discipleship!
Take a guided tour, see classes in action and talk with teachers, administrators and

Feb. 8, Sun. - Ruth Leaman of Mennonite Economic Development Associates will
be sharing as a part of the worship service.
Feb. 14, Sat.-Sweetheart Banquet here at church. Big Johns BBQ will be catering
again. It is $20 a couple. Please sign up on the sheet on the narthex table by Feb 6.
Mar. 7, Sat.-Everence Lancaster will host Stewardship University, a ministry
partnership between Everence and the local faith community. Courses will
explore subjects ranging from retirement preparation and budgeting to health and

-Know someone looking for an affordable, spacious apartment with new
amenities? Friendship Community is a Christian ministry cultivating capabilities of
Individuals with developmental disabilities. They own and operate the Old Mill
Apartments at 175 Old Mill Road in Ephrata. Twenty of these rental units are used
for non-profit purposes, offering apartment space to the Individuals within
Friendship. Twenty rental units are available to the general public, and they

-The Jr. Youth is having a hat and glove drive for people who need clothing to
keep warm. The drive will last until February 15th. There will be a box in the lobby
and near the coat room upstairs where people can donate. The Jr. Youth group
would like these gloves and hats to be new. If there are any questions, you can email
me, or any other Jr. Youth member. Thank you very much! -Abby Horning
-The Bible Quiz season is off to a good start, and Gehman quizzers invite you to
attend an afternoon of quizzing today at Blainsport Mennonite Church beginning at
2:00 p.m. Our church has four teams competing this year, involving 24 quizzers, as
well as coaches and assistants. Team roster and schedules are posted on the narthex
bulletin board. The quizzers and coaches also wishes to thank Nelson Gehman ,
assisted by William Horning, for designing new and improved quizzing buttons for
practices and to Tom Martin for providing some of the components used to
construct them.
