TRIDUUM IN HONOR OF THE HOLY FACE OF JESUS

Day 1: Holy Face of Jesus, my only good, I turn to you with confidence and beg this
grace.... For your holy tears console me, O Jesus, and answer me through the
intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Joseph.

Day 2: Holy Face of Jesus, my love and my all, to thee I turn with lively faith, I will
not be disappointed. The sweetness of Thy divine eyes draws me and makes me
love you; look at me, O Jesus, and grant me this grace....

Day 3: Holy Face of Jesus, my joy and my treasure, full of confidence I turn to You in
Your infinite mercies. It is true that I am unworthy to be heard, and yet I hope, O
Jesus by Your goodness I humbly ask this grace...

SUPPLICATIONS TO THE HOLY FACE

1. O Jesus, our Savior, show us your Holy face!
We beg you to turn your eyes, full of mercy and expression of mercy and
forgiveness, on this poor humanity, enveloped by the darkness of error and Sin, as
in the hour of your death. You promised that, once lifted up from the earth, you
would have drawn all men, of all things to you. And we come to You precisely
because You have attracted us. To you we are thankful; but please draw to you, with
the irresistible light of your face, the innumerable sons of your Father who, like the
prodigal son in the Gospel parable, wandering away from her father's house and
disperse the gifts of God in a way to the miserable.
2. O Jesus, our Savior, show us your Holy face!
Your Holy Face radiates light everywhere, as a beacon of light that guides those
who, perhaps without even knowing it, seek you with restless heart. You do resound
constantly the loving invitation: "Come to me all you who labor and are heavy
laden, and I will refresh you." We have listened to this invitation, and we have seen
the light of this lighthouse that has guided us unto You, to discover the sweetness,
beauty and the kindness of your Holy Face. We thank you from the bottom of our
hearts; We pray that the light of your Holy Face may glimpse the mists that
surround so many people, not just those that we have ever known, but also those
who, while having you know, have abandoned you, perhaps because they had never
looked your Face.

3. O Jesus, our Savior, show us your Holy face!

We come to your Holy Face to celebrate your glory, to thank you for the countless
spiritual and temporal benefits which we filled, to ask for your mercy and
forgiveness and our guide in every moment of our lives, to ask for our sins and
those who do not reciprocate your infinite love.
You know, though, how many dangers and temptations exposed our lives and the
lives of our loved ones; how many evil forces are trying to push us out of the way of
which You have shown us; how many concerns, necessities, infirmities, hardships
upon us and our families.
We trust in You; We bring with us always the image of your gracious and merciful
face. We pray, though: if our attention from you be distracted and be attracted by
enticements and perverse illusions, may your face shine forth even brighter in the
eyes of our spirit and we may be more attracted to you who alone are the Way, the
Truth and the Life.
4. O Jesus, our Savior, show us your Holy face!
You have placed your church into the world because it is the constant sign of your
presence and the instrument of your grace so that we may achieve the salvation for
which You came into the world - your death and your resurrection. Salvation lies in
our intimate communion with the Most Holy Trinity and the brotherhood of all
mankind.
We thank you for the gift of the Church. We pray that you may be always
transparent and clear, to your Holy Bride, because she always manifest the light of
your face, the sure guide of humanity towards the fatherland of eternity. Constantly
enlighten the Pope, Bishops, Priests, Deacons, Men and Women Religious, and the
faithful with your Holy Face, so that all reflect your light and be credible witnesses to
your Gospel.
5. O Jesus, our Savior, show us your Holy face!
And now our final supplication to the many zealous collaborators of the devotion to
your Holy Face, working in their state of life, so that all the brothers and sisters may
all know and love.
Grant O Jesus, our Savior, that the Apostles of your Holy Face may radiate your light
around them, bear witness of faith, hope and charity, and accompany many lost
brethren to the house of God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.
