List of inactive volcanoes in the Philippines

1. Alligator Lake, also known as Tadlac Lake, is a freshwater crater


lake located in Barangay Tadlac, in the Municipality of Los Baos, Laguna
province, Philippines. The lake-filled maar is located along the southern
shore of Laguna de Bay, the largest lake in the country, with Alligator Lake
protruding out of the shore of the larger lake. If not for its slightly-elevated
crater rim, Alligator Lake would be wholly engulfed by Laguna de Bay.

2. Mount Balungao is an extinct volcano located in Pangasinan, Ilocos


Region, on the island of Luzon in the Philippines. Rising to the height of
382 metres (1,253 ft) ASL, it is located in the town of Balungao, about 5
kilometres (3.1 mi) from the town center. It is the main tourist attraction of
the town, along with the Balungao Hot and Cold Spring Resort nearby.

3. Pandin and Yambo are twin crater lakes separated by a narrow strip of
land. They are part of the Seven Lakes system in San Pablo. The lakes
can be found in Brgy. San Lorenzo, San Pablo City, Laguna, Philippines.
Lake Pandin is said to be "the most pristine" of the seven lakes of San
Pablo.[1]

4. Lake Calibato is one of the seven crater lakes collectively called


"Pitong Lawa" or Seven Lakes of San Pablo in Laguna. The lake is
situated in Brgy. Sto. Angel in San Pablo City. Calibato has an area of 42
hectares and maximum depth of 135 meters. Calibato's maximum water
capacity is approximately 29,600 cubic meters. Its supplies the city and
nearby towns with abundant fish and aquatic plants. The lake is the
deepest recorded among the seven-lake system; no recorded depths are
available for Muhikap.

5. Lake Bunot is one of the Seven Lakes of San Pablo, Laguna. It is


located in Brgy. Concepcion, San Pablo City. Only 4.5 km from the city
proper, Bunot is known for its cultured tilapia and fishpens for Nilotica
fingerlings. Bunot has a normal surface area of 30.5 hectares with a
maximum depth of 23 meter.

Norte and covers a total area of 3,632.74 hectares (8,976.7 acres)
with a buffer zone of 889.04 hectares (2,196.9 acres)

Lake

Danao is

situated in the 2,193 hectares (5,420 acres) Lake Danao National
Park, which also includes the Amandiwin mountain range. The lake is 18

kilometres (11 mi) northeast of Ormoc City, half an hour drive along the San Pablo - Tongonan and Milagro - Lake
Danao roads.

5. Isabel Island is an inhabited island in the province of Romblon in the Philippines. It is part of barangay
Nasunogan in the municipality of Banton. In the 1918 census, the
island together with its sister island Carlota Island constituted one
single barrio named "Isla de las Dos Hermanas" (Spanish: Two Sisters
Island) with 23 inhabitants.
