• designing and customizing tool boxes to meet the needs of clients;
• fabrication from galvanized sheet metal to product;
• Drawing to scale tool boxes for trailers, caravans, musical
instruments;
• Operation of hydraulic guillotine, hand bender and welder;
• Working independently, managing all facets of a business i.e.
financial, administrative, marketing and public relations.
2007
Offered employment at Town and Country Tanks. Responsible for:
• The construction and assembly of water tank stands manufactured
for Stratco, Mitre 10, and The Housing Trust (Govt SA).
2001-07
Employed at Allin Towbars Pty. Responsible for:
• the supervision and training of new employees;
• ongoing support and leadership;
• the complete assembly of towbars;
• cutting, drilling and tacking;
• welding Mig, Arc and Oxy cutting and painting;
• machine operation working with jigs, measuring, sizing, cutting, and
use of drill presses, air and power tools.
During this time I obtained accreditation through Mitsubishi as a Certified Welder. My test plates were
sent to CIGWELD in Melbourne for final approval both visual and Macro.
2000-01
Employed at The Wire House. Responsible for:
• the manufacturing of wire baskets; Tuscany stands, candelabras,
wine racks and barbecue grills;
• packaging ready for distribution to companies such as K-Mart,
Bunnings, BBQ’s Galore and various nurseries both within South
Australia and interstate;
• spot welding and powder coating.
1994-1999
Employed as a Plasterer for a family business in Queensland. Responsible for:
• gyprocking, flushing and sanding.

Employed with MTM Aluminum Windows. Responsible for:
• the delivery of windows to building sites and storage bays;
• loading and un-loading fragile aluminum windows.
Voluntary Positions
I have a strong passion for the manufacturing and associated industries. I have worked in this industry for
the past 17 years and look to further my career and development in this area. I am self-motivated and use
my initiative to ensure work is completed competently, efficiently and in a timely manner. I feel I would be
an asset to any team as I have a breadth of experience, are committed, hard working and willing to learn
all facets of a position. I am reliable and easily develop a rapport with people. I adapt well with change
and work well under pressure. I look to further my skills, knowledge and abilities in the manufacturing
industry and appreciate the opportunity when it arises to pass on my knowledge for not only does it
provide me with self satisfaction but it also benefits the individual and a growing but aging industry
