Para formar el comparativo aadimos al adjetivo la terminacin er. Por ejemplo para el adjetivo fast (rpido) le
aadimos er: faster (ms rpido).
Ejemplos:
A train is faster than a bicycle (Un tren es ms rpido que una bicicleta).
The sea is larger than a lake (El mar es ms grande que un lago).
El superlativo.
Para formar el superlativo aadiremos al adjetivo est, adems el adjetivo ir precedido del artculo The. Por
ejemplo para el adjetivo old (viejo) le aadimos est: the oldest (el ms viejo)

La comparacin.
Para formar comparaciones se aade la terminacin er. Y si acaban en y, sta se sustituir por i. Por ejemplo,
el adjetivo easy (fcil) acabar con ier: easier (ms fcil).
Ejemplos:
This work is easier than yours (ste trabajo es ms fcil que el tuyo).
Im cleverer than her (Soy ms inteligente que ella.)
My car is slower than yours (Mi coche es ms lento que el tuyo).
El superlativo.
Para formar el superlativo aadiremos est. Y si acaban en y, sta se sustituye por i. Adems siempre ir
precedido por el artculo The. Por ejemplo el adjetivo ugly (feo) acabar con iest: the ugliest (el ms feo).
Ejemplos:
This man is the ugliest (ste hombre es el ms feo).
3. Para adjetivos largos de dos o ms slabas.
La comparacin.
Para formar comparaciones, el adjetivo ir precedido de la palabra more. Por ejemplo, el adjetivo modern
(moderno) ser more modern (ms moderno).
Ejemplo:
This house is mor modern (sta casa es ms moderna).
El superlativo.
Para formar el superlativo, el adjetivo ir precedido por The most. El adjetivo beautiful (hermoso) ser: the
most beautiful (el ms hermoso).
Ejemplos:
The woman is the most beautiful (sta mujer es la ms hermosa).
Los adjetivos irregulares:

La forma de pasado simple de un verbo sea regular o irregular solo se usa en la oracin afirmativa ; cuando se
niega o se pregunta el verbo regresa a su forma simple y se utiliza el auxiliar didnt o did,
respectivamente.
Para formar el pasado simple de los verbos regulares, solo hay que agregar el sufijo -ed a la forma
simple del verbo. Ejemplos:
work

Si el verbo termina en y precedida de una consonante, se desaparece la y y se cambia por i ms el sufijo ed.
study studied
Si termina en y precedida de una vocal , solo se agrega el sufijo ed.
play played
Si el verbo es de una sola slaba y termina en consonante (excepto y) precedida de una vocal, se repite la ltima
consonante
y se agrega -ed.

Si el verbo termina en una sola e, solo se agrega la d.
live
lived
Si el verbo es de dos slabas, termina con una vocal y una consonante (con excepcin de y) y se acenta en la ltima
slaba, se duplica la ltima consonante final y se agrega ed.

Para formar el pasado simple de los verbos irregulares, no hay reglas, cada uno tiene su propia particularidad.
USO.
Usamos el pasado simple para hablar acerca de acciones y situaciones en el pasado.

Se usa el imperativo para dar rdenes, advertencias e instrucciones en Ingls:
Order: Be quiet

FORMA.
Para formar un imerativo afirmativo se usa:
forma base del verbo + (objeto) + complemento
Ejemplo:
Bring your book to class
Puede ser negativo para prohibiciones:
Dont + forma base del verbo + (objeto) + complemento
Ejemplo:
Dont eat in class.
Se puede usar please para hacer ms educado el imperativo, se puede escribir al inicio o al final de la oracin.
Please, listen to me.
Cuando se incluye el hablante se usa Lets.

Las oraciones con be going to conectan el futuro y el presente:
Usamos going to para hablar de algo en el futuro, lo cual se ve como resultado de lo que sucede en el presente.
Look at those black clouds in the sky. Its going to rain. He is going to get wet.
Otros ejemplos:
Hurry up! Its getting late. Youre going to miss your train.
Look out! That ladder is going to fall!
Por esta razn las oraciones con going to, son con frecuencia acerca de un futuro cercano.
Tambin usamos be going to para hablar de algo que intentaremos hacer en el futuro. Cuando ya hemos decidido
hacer algo.
