as drug traffic, drug abuse, drug addiction (*) and various social evil relative
to drug. They are happening and will happen if people are not aware of the
seriously negative effect of drug to both individual and society. Specially,

drug can cause severe effect to human body to body systems.


Firstly, the respiratory system is really influenced by drug both short-term and long-term.
Drugs can excite respiratory irritation increasing breathing frequency immediately but
then will restrict respiration, especially when overdose. Using drugs (especially cocaine)
are

reason

for

many diseases

pneumomediastinum,

alveolar

such

as

hemorrhage,

pulmonary edema,
bronchiolitis

pneumothorax,

obliterans,

pneumonia,

bronchitis, and asthma. According to the Journal of Medical Progress in January 1999
and America National Institute on Drug Abuse., several researches of American authors
show that having an association between smoking drugs and lung cancer. In addition,
the influence of drug will be more severe if using them with tobacco. According to a
study published in the Canadian Medical Association Journal by Dr. Wan C. Tan in
2002, the rate of develop progress dechronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) of
people smoking both tobacco and marijuana a kind of drug - is higher than those who
use only one type.
Secondly, drug also is origin of a disease regarding to cardiovascular system.
Researchers have found a connection between the drug use and adverse

cardiovascular effects, ranging from abnormal heart rate to heart attacks. The drug
stimulates the heart rate, directly effect on the heart. Drugs abuse also is responsible for
coronary spasm making angina and myocardial infarction. The arrhythmia is severe
trouble threatening drug life of users. Furthermore, they are reason exacerbating the
vasoconstrictor and high pressure blood.
Next, the impacts of drug, especially cocaine, on nervous system are really
considerable. Chemicals of drug seriously and irreversibly destroy neurons on the brain,
from that increases the possibility of numerous fatal nervous system malfunctions.
Besides, drug use can make happen complications such as seizures, subarachnoid
hemorrhage and stroke. Furthermore, drug abuse and mental disorders often co-exist.
Mental diseases may precede addiction; however, drug abuse may trigger or
exacerbate mental disorders.
Drug also affects to the reproductive system indirectly. Many people always think that
drugs use will improve libido ability, however the fact is different.

Sexual function

declined significantly, and this impact persists after discontinuation of the drug. Using
the drug for long periods, men will suffer from gynecomastia and impotence; women will
be disturbed menstrual cycle, menorrhagia, increase milk production and reproductive
abnormalities.
In addion, drug use can be direct or indirect origin of many other disease. For example,
drug users also suffer other harm such as hepatocellular necrosis, virtual auditory and
visual. Excretory system, motor system and other system may be influenced by drug
following different ways.
Drug can destroy completely a human both physical and mental part if he can control
himself. The influences of drug do not focus on only a body system or an organ, they
are multi effects affect simultaneous more than one organ or system. The impacts of
drug on human body is really dangerous.
(*) In a normal body, hypothesis secrete endorphin (endogenous + morphine) which is natural anodyne, however
when a person uses drug, drug will replace this hormone. Body gradually reduce discharge endorphin that lead to
serious pain even just a unremarkable collision. The drug users have to raise dore to relieve pain and get pleasant
feeling, from that they become addict step by step.That is drug addiction.
