MUNICIPAL ORDINANCE NO. 03-2012

AMENDING ORDINANCE NO . 05-2008, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE CURFEW
ORDINANCE OF GUINOBATAN, ALBAY BY CHANGING THE TIME FROM [10:00
P.M. TO 4:00 A.M.] TO [9:00 P.M. TO 4:00 A.M.]

BE IT ORDAINED, by the Sangguniang Bayan of Guinobatan, Albay in session assembled

that:
SECTION 1. Amendatory Provision. Section 5(2) of Ordinance No. 05-2008 is hereby
amended to read as follows:
Section 5. Definition of Terms. As used in this ordinance:
2. Curfew Hours shall refer to a certain period of time between nine oclock in
the evening (9:00 p.m.) to four oclock in the morning (4:00 a.m.) of the
following day.
SECTION 2. All other relevant provisions of Ordinance No. 05-2008 mentioning/containing
the phrase 10:00 oclock in the evening as the start of curfew hours, are hereby
accordingly adjusted to 9:00 oclock in the evening.
SECTION 3. Separability Clause. If, for any reason or reasons, any part or provision of this
Ordinance shall be held to be unconstitutional or invalid, other parts or provisions
hereof which are not affected thereby shall continue to be in full force and effect.
SECTION 4. Repealing Clause. Municipal Ordinance No. 05-2008 and any other ordinances
or part or parts thereof which are inconsistent with any of the provisions of this
Ordinance are hereby amended or modified accordingly.
SECTION 5. Effectivity. This ordinance shall take effect upon review and approval of the
Sangguniang Panlalawigan and completion of the required publication and upon
approval of the Municipal Mayor.
