Planning and Designing

Network Planning and Optimization

Worked as BSC owner and was responsible to achieve KPIs targets on BSC level.
Daily cell Statistics Monitoring such as CSSR, TCH/SDCCH Drop rate, HOSR, TCH/SDCCH
congestion, TCH assignment success rate, Paging, RACH etc.
Escalation of daily degraded KPIs and resolving the degradation with coordination of Drive
tester and customer.
Maintaining and improving network performance and quality within set KPIs thresholds.
Traffic steering, Implementation and dimensioning using features like Dynamic Half Rate
(DHA/DYMA), Cell Load Sharing (CLS), Assignment to Another Cell (AW), Sub cell Load Sharing
(SCLD), Hierarchal Cell Structure (HCS), Adaptive Configuration Logical Channels (ACLC) for
SDCCH.
Parameter Audit.
Inconsistencies check.
Provides technical assistance and recommendations to worst cases of network for resolution
of issues.
Analysis & documentation of worst performance areas in regards to frequent complaints &
escalation to the client.
Escalation and follow up on priority hardware issues from the responsible team.

Drive Test Engineer

DT (Drive test) using TEMS Investigation 8.0.3 drive test tool.

Identification of low power and faulty TRXs and Time Slot verification.
Testing for feeder swaps and observation of traffic behaviour and congestion in the network.
Checking for Inter-site & Intra-cell handover relation and perform neighbour verification,
Frequency Scanning, EDGE/GPRS Testing.
DT (Drive test) of Pre Launch and Post Launch Sites.
Identifying different network problems like drop call, handover failure etc.
Coordination with the OMC and BSS Team for site status.
Resolved customer complains i.e. signal strength, bad quality etc.
Identification of faults and issues during the drive test e.g. sector swaps (complete & partial),
BCCH clashes (adjacent and co-channel interference), Handover failures, Call drops, bad Quality
and Rx level patches, missing neighbours, overshoots etc.
