Afteryoupartiallyorcompletelycancelapurchase
order,youneedtoinformyoursupplierofthe
cancellation.Youcancommunicatepurchaseorders
orreleasesyoupartiallyorcompletelycancelled.
Purchasingautomaticallyinsertsacancellation
messageonthepurchaseorder,purchaseorderline,
purchaseordershipment,orreleaseyoucancelled.
Youcansourcearequisitionlinefromalineinthe
PriorPurchasesregionoftheSupplierItemCatalog
window.(AlineinthePriorPurchasesregion
correspondstoapurchaseorderline.)However,
Purchasingdoesnotautomaticallyupdatethe
correspondingsourcinginformationifyoucancela
blanketagreementoragreementlinewithwhichyou
sourcerequisitionlines.Ifyoucancelablanket
agreementoragreementline,besuretoupdatethe
correspondinginformationintheRequisition
