BSC Exchange Properties

BSC Exchange Properties

Base Station Controller (BSC) exchange properties control the functional
behaviour of the exchange. The value of a property defines the choice of
functional alternatives.
The main BSC exchange properties affecting the radio network are
described in this document.
The handling of the BSC exchange properties depends on the type of
the parameter which can be mandatory or optional. If the type is
mandatory the application dependent value of the parameter will be set
with the change command before it can be used. If the type is optional
the default value given in the Application Information is used as a preset
value. However, a new value in the frames of the value range can be set
with the change command. The value is decimal if not otherwise
described.
