The Indian Institute of Learning & Advanced Development intends to be an agent of change in

the service industry sectors.
The Indian Institute of Learning & Advanced Development an endeavor of Primordial Systems P. Ltd. has
entered into an academic alliance with Mewar University (an autonomous body promulgated by the
Government of Rajasthan through Act No. 4 of 2009, passed by Rajasthan Assembly; Approved by the
UGC u/s 2(f) of the UGC Act 1956, with the right to confer Degree u/s 22(1) of the UGC Act) to jointly
enhance standards of mutual learning and to fulfill the ever-increasing demand of skilled and
experienced professionals by Corporate India. The thrust of our Programs is to prepare the students for
taking up challenging roles within their respective domains, and transforming them into future leaders
in the service industry and to this end, INLEAD has also associated itself with renowned industry bodies
such as CII & FICCI.

within allowable timeframes.

Ensure students have opportunities to provide feedback on unit quality, teaching performance,

Ensure that any campus related disruption that may affect students during their course of study is
kept to a minimum and is communicated in a timely manner.
Inform themselves of, and comply with, all relevant student policies & guidelines, Institute Statutes,
rules, by-laws, the Institutes Guiding Ethical Principles.
Be aware of course and program requirements and their individual academic progress.
Behave in an appropriate manner within the learning environment, showing respect for both staff

From time to time changes to the Student policy and manual may be necessary. Primordial Systems P.
Ltd., through the appointed Vice President - INLEAD, reserves the right to interpret, add, modify, amend
or withdraw any or all rules from time to time as deemed fit, with or without prior notice and such
interpretations, additions, modifications or amendments shall be final and binding upon all students.
Any student who has any suggestions regarding amendments, improvements or update of this policy
document, may communicate the same in writing to the Office of Student Affairs for review.
Changes to this policy document need to be authorized by the President of Indian Institute of Learning &
Advanced Development.

Two Years of Research Study & Thesis Submission under P.G.R.I. Scheme
1.2.3.1 Eligibility
Admission to the Ph.D. program at INLEAD under the PGRI framework of Mewar University shall be
granted basis the fulfillment of the below mentioned selection criteria:

Program Structure
Admitted students are enrolled in the Post Graduate Research Integrated (P.G.R.I.) Programs with an
exit option to earn sector-specialized PGDM after the first year, MBA after the second year and Ph.D.
after the fourth year.

The P.G.R.I. scheme of Mewar University provides a highly efficient credit transfer mechanism for
aspirants with relevant work experience and or prior postgraduate qualifications from a recognized
university. The candidate must demonstrate professional acumen and fulfill the necessary academic pre
requisites so as to be eligible for the applied program.
Candidates selected under the Credit Transfer Mechanism of the P.G.R.I. scheme of Mewar University
shall undergo a bridged capsule program encompassing all papers from Year 1 of the applied MBA
program, followed by a credit equivalence examination conducted for successful conclusion of the
necessary credit transfers.

* Actual program duration for admissions under the credit transfer scheme of Mewar University may
vary due to university credits granted towards prior education as well as towards relevant professional
work experience; by way of a credit-transfer mechanism including a bridge capsule course covering
topics from Year 1 of the relevant MBA program as well as a credit equivalence examination.
Enrolled students may exit the Program at pre-defined junctures to pursue a rewarding career in their
chosen area of sector specialization.
Scenario 1:
A Graduate student enrolls into the Program and exits at the end of the first-year after earning a
P.G.D.M. with sector specialization.
Scenario 2:
A Graduate student enrolls into the Program and exits at the end of the second-year after earning a FullTime M.B.A. with sector specialization.
Scenario 3:
A Graduate student enrolls into the Program and exits at the end of the fourth-year after earning a Ph.D.
with sector specialization.

The Academic progression of a student will be largely computed on the below mentioned areas but will
not be limited to:

Evaluation Methodology
Students are evaluated on numeric scores during the course of their academic tenure and computing
the same as CGPA in their final assessment sheet indicates the percentage of marks scored.
Students are scored on the entire API criteria mentioned in the Student Policy Handbook with specific
percentage defined for each category.

Students must mandatorily submit all academic documents prior to their term end examination. In
event of a student having a result awaited status for any of his/her graduation papers must then submit
a student declaration form citing the date of submission for the pending documents. The admission for
students falling in this category shall stand provisional until the required documents are duly submitted.
These students will be allowed to appear for Term End Examination only upon submission of the
required academic documents and delay in submission within the course of the program duration may
result in the student appearing for the examination in the subsequent quarter.
Students shall reappear for a supplementary examination in event of not fulfilling the CGPA passing
criteria which should culminate to at least 40% marks scored in all the subjects. Students required to
clear their supplementary examination shall only be entitled to participate in the supplementary
examinations scheduled for the following quarter of their term end assessment failing which they will
not be permitted any further re-assessment facilities and subsequently not be awarded the Degree/
Diploma they applied for.
Students shall only be awarded their respective program certificates after the conclusion of their
scholastic year & upon successful completion of all the stated academic criteria.

Model Release
The student being of legal age shall authorize INLEAD, by signing a model release declaration form giving
his/ her consent for publishing photographic portraits which may include the students picture in whole
or in part, or composite, or distorted in character form, in conjunction with their own or any other

picture, name or reproductions thereof in color or otherwise made through any media at its offices or
elsewhere, for art, advertising, business or trade or any other lawful purpose whatsoever.
1.8
Lectures/Faculty
1.8.1 INLEAD is not responsible for the views/ opinions/ ideas of any faculty /guest lecturer/ speaker/
third party over and above the course curriculum. INLEAD does not endorse in anyway opinion/
statement/ comment of such third parties with context to non-related opinions. INLEAD shall
neither be responsible nor liable for any consequential damages arising on account of the
applicant relying on views/ ideas/ opinions / statements of the above.
1.8.2 Owing to the high reliance on expert faculty, certain lectures may be cancelled/ delayed/ rescheduled. INLEAD ensures that it will make good such cancellations/ delays/ re-schedules by
calling upon speakers of equal repute and experience to cover the topic on the same date, or if
not possible, on any other date as declared by INLEAD.
1.8.3 INLEAD reserves the right to arrange for extra lectures on other days of the week if in INLEADs
opinion it serves in the best interest of the students.
1.8.4 Members of the Faculty in accordance with the Management Steering Committees approval
will review and modify the pedagogy of programs as and when required to suit Industry
standards.
1.8.5 INLEAD also provides a unique mentorship program to all its students where students can be
mentored under the guidance of professional & academic mentors.
1.8.6 The mentorship program offers an opportunity for students to seek career or academic related
counseling on a one to one basis with their respective mentors, apart from other related
activities & coordination.

Students of INLEAD are awarded with the following certifications upon the successful completion of
their academic tenure at INLEAD.

offered by INLEAD under the P.G.R.I scheme of Mewar University (Awarded by Mewar
University in collaboration with INLEAD, to students on their convocation ceremony)
1.9.7 Doctor of Philosophy Certificate - for students enrolled in the Ph.D. programs offered by INLEAD
under the P.G.R.I scheme of Mewar University (Awarded by Mewar University in collaboration
with INLEAD, to students on their convocation ceremony)

1.9.9 Additional Mega Events or Industry Exposure Certificates from Industry Partners of INLEAD basis

Students shall also be entitled to receiving bona fide certificate as & when required, subject to their
respective HoDs approval.

1.10.2 ICAT: ICAT is a comprehensive tool to test and determine employability quotient and key
strength areas of a candidate based upon individuals intelligence, interest areas, and
personality.
1.10.3 Competency Mapping: Competency mapping is a process to assess and determine ones
emotional intelligence / emotional quotient (EQ), and strengths in areas like team structure,
leadership, & decision-making.
1.10.4 Industry Exposure: Provides insight into corporate operations & industry practices
1.10.5 Industry Expert Workshops: Learning from the practicing managers promotes active learning
and to imbibe troubleshooting abilities
1.10.6 Industry Excursions: To demonstrate practical application of theories & fundamentals with
renowned industry partners.
1.10.7 Industry Events: A guided special event & activity exposure is offered to students to understand
the nuances of multidimensional operations.

international events to enhance their learning curve.

2. Academic Integrity
At INLEAD we lay great emphasis on values of honesty, integrity, and responsibility. Students, Faculty &
Staff are all expected to maintain academic integrity in their work and take collective responsibility for
preventing violations of intellectual ownership. The institution is committed to helping students learn
these values through development and growth where personal commitment, sincere work, and honest
achievements shall form vital constituents of our educational endeavor. The process of determining
academic dishonesty begins with the respective Faculty Member and may proceed to include the
INLEAD Management Steering Committee. All incidents of academic dishonesty, including
developmental or punitive action should be referred in writing to the Vice President- INLEAD.
Students are expected to:
Conduct themselves in a manner conducive to the proper functioning of the Institute, which is
dedicated to the pursuit of academic excellence.
Attend scheduled program teaching activities and submit assessment tasks on time
Behave ethically, avoiding any action or behavior that would unfairly disadvantage or advantage
either themselves or another student
Comply with the conventions of academic scholarship and ensure the proper use of copyright
material
Ensure their academic activities are conducted safely and do not place others at risk of harm,
including abiding by all ethics requirements in relation to that research
Be familiar with the programs and resources available to assist them in conducting their studies
and research appropriately, including resources to help students avoid plagiarism and to comply
with the ethics requirements of research

2.1.3 Plagiarism
Plagiarism is a one of the key forms of academic dishonesty involving the presentation of the work of
another as one's own. Plagiarism includes but is not limited to the following:

audio disks, video programs or musical scores, whether published or unpublished, in
whole or part, without proper acknowledgement that it is someone else's

University, the eligibility criteria for admittance to Ph.D. shall be as per Mewar Universitys
norms & guidelines.)

Admission Procedures
Students interested in enrolling themselves for any of the programs offered at the INLEAD will be
required to undertake the below mentioned admittance procedure to be a part of the hallowed portals
of INLEAD.
3.3
Application:
3.3.1 Both Online & Offline Application Forms are made available for students to facilitate
convenient application submission.
3.3.2 The Online Application Form can be downloaded from the institutes website
www.inlead.in
3.3.3 Students may also collect their Application Form from the INLEAD campus in person.
3.3.4 The duly filled application form can be submitted via the INLEAD Online Application system
and the application fee for the same can be paid through the secure online payment
gateway.

3.8.3 All fees including admission-processing charges once paid will not be refundable for any
reason whatsoever. The security deposit shall be refunded to candidates successfully
completing their respective program at INLEAD. Students can seek refund of the security
deposit up till 2 years from the date of Convocation for their respective batch, failing which
the security deposit shall stand forfeited.
3.8.5 The student/ parent/ guardian authorizes INLEAD to deposit cheques on due dates without
recourse to them. Hence, no activity such as bank account closure & or stop payment of the
cheque should be undertaken by the student or related point of contacts. If the issuing bank
for any reason does not honor the cheque, INLEAD shall initiate such steps including legal
action to recover the same.
3.8.6 In the event of non-receipt of fees on due date, INLEAD reserves the right to initiate such
steps including refraining the students from attending lectures, participating in events/
workshops, appearing for assessments/ exams etc. at its sole discretion. The student/
parent/ guardian waive their right to initiate any steps against INLEAD arising out of steps
initiated for the same.
3.8.7 For readmission to the Program (at the discretion of the Management) a readmission fee of
INR 25,000 must be deposited by the student to initiate the re-admission procedure.
3.8.8 Supplementary exam fee of INR 5,000 would be applicable after second attempt, in case of
non-completion of academic requirements.

3.8.9 For revocation of termination a revocation fee of INR 5,000 must be deposited by the
student to revocate termination.
3.8.10 No cheque payments shall be accepted for the submission of Academic Tuition Fee.
3.9
Applicant Details
3.9.1 Admissions granted on incorrect information will be construed null and void. In all matters
regarding admission to the program, the decision of the Institute will be final and binding on
the applicant. No correspondence from the applicant with respect to his/her non-selection
will be entertained.
3.9.2 The candidate must provide current and updated contact details to the Institute at the time
of admission. Alternate telephone numbers, email addresses should be provided for the
record of the Institute. Any change in your address/ telephone number should be intimated
to the Institute immediately. INLEAD is not responsible for Postal/ Courier delays, loss in
transit, or wrong address.
3.10
Cancellation of Admission
INLEAD reserves its right to cancel the admission of successful applicants under any of the following
circumstances:
3.10.1 If the student fails to clear his/her fees payable as per the defined timelines.
3.10.2 If the students cheques are dishonored.
3.10.3 If the student fails to furnish the proof of the stipulated minimum qualifications/ eligibility
criteria within the defined time frame or the same is found not to be genuine.
3.10.6 If the student has committed a breach of any of the terms of this Policy Manual or any rule
framed subsequent to these terms, and has failed to rectify such breach despite INLEAD
calling upon him/her to do so.

The Training & Placement assistance provided at INLEAD is broadly classified under two categories:

INLEAD & opting for Domestic Internship and or Placements
4.2
Training & Placement Participation Tenets (Applicable for both Category A & B candidates):
Students seeking to participate in the T&P assistance offered by INLEAD, must adhere to the below
mentioned guidelines & procedures:
4.2.1 INTERNSHIP I:
4.2.1.1. Interview Confirmation:
4.2.1.1.1 Duly fill the Interview Confirmation Form for participating in the interviews scheduled
by INLEAD with its industry partners. The same must be submitted at least 3 days prior
to the scheduled interview unless the interview communication has been sent later than
the stipulated duration to the student.
Duly fill the Internship Opt Out Request Form in event of the student opting out of the
internship I & self-arranging the same. The stated form must be submitted at least 15
days prior to the commencement of the prescribed internship as per the academic
calendar of INLEAD.
4.2.2 PRE-PLACEMENT:
4.2.2.1
Duly fill & submit the Pre-Placement Acceptance Form as per the communicated timeline
in event of a Pre Placement Offer being released to a student so as to confirm their

joining with the respective Employer and subsequently opt out of further T&P assistance
from INLEAD.
4.2.3.1.1
Duly fill & submit the T&P Assistance Form as per the defined timelines communicated
by representatives of INLEAD so as to confirm their participation in either Internship II or
Final Placement procedures before the Term End Examination. The students opting for
Internship II shall undergo 3 months of Internship followed by final placement assistance
in the next placement cycle in accordance to the T&P guidelines cited in INLEADs
Student Policies & Guidelines Manual and as per the prescribed timeline of the INLEAD
Recruiter Division.
4.2.3.1.2 Students opting for Internship II can seek employment opportunities (up to 3 interview
chances) through the institute upon successful completion of the Internship II and
submission of Internship II report, internship II-completion certificate, & related
documents. This privilege for placement assistance will be valid for 3 months -post the
successful completion of Internship II & its requisite documentation formalities. Any
student failing to report to the institute basis the above-mentioned timelines shall be
barred from the given placement privileges.

4.2.3.1.4 Successfully clear his/her mid-term and term end examinations (In event of a student
not qualifying through the term end examinations, he/she shall be required to selfarrange Internship II for themselves.) The referred students shall be required to
successfully clear their supplementary examinations held in the subsequent academic
quarter and upon successful completion of the same, the student shall be entitled to 3
interview chances through INLEAD by submission of relevant internship documents.
Duly fill & submit the Interview Participation Form as per the defined timelines
communicated by representatives of INLEAD, in order to cite their preferred list of
companies with whom they wish to participate for job interview & seek employment.
This form would entail the students with a choice of selecting 5 of their preferred
companies from the list of companies available in the form, with whom their resume`s
would be shared and subsequent interview line ups shall be facilitated. However, in
event of a student not being shortlisted for interviews from their preferred employer,
INLEAD Recruiter shall arrange for alternate interviews as per the students employability
assessment report in accordance with the T&P guidelines cited in the INLEAD Student
Policy & Guidelines Manual.
4.2.3.3.1 Duly fill the Interview Confirmation Form for participating in the interviews scheduled by
INLEAD with its industry partners. The same must be submitted at least 3 days prior to
the scheduled interview unless the interview communication has been sent later than
the stipulated duration to the student.

be submitted at least 15 days prior to the commencement of the prescribed placement
interview scheduled as per the placement interview schedule of INLEAD. (This document
is for Domestic Placements only & shall not apply in case of International Placements as;
once the international internship/ placement application has been received there will be
financial, legal & statutory ramifications while opting out for the same. Hence, terms &
conditions as cited under Section 4.3.2 of Category B- Training & Placements will be
applicable in this case)

designated authorized representatives & the INLEAD Recruiter Division and shall be considered in
conjunction with the No Dues Clearance Status & other records of the applicant student.
4.3
Training & Placement Standard Guidelines (Applicable for both Category A & B candidates)
4.3.1 Eligibility
Students partaking in the T&P assistance provided by INLEAD & its Channel Partners shall be required to
mandatorily qualify & complete the below mentioned parameters so as to be eligible for the offered
Training & Placement assistance. To this end, each student shall be required to:

by INLEAD prior to the interviews facilitated by INLEAD or its channel partners.

a student has appeared for, his/ her name shall be withdrawn from the
interview registration schedule in accordance with the placement calendar and
the student will not be eligible to sit for any more interviews irrespective of the
categories of jobs.
4.3.2.11. Students, who have accepted the pre-placement offer from an organization
during the course of Internship I or in the subsequent quarter owing to their
affirmative performance in Internship I with the said organization, shall not be
appearing for any further interviews conducted in the Campus Placement Drive
for Internship II or Final Placements.
4.3.2.14. Students opting Internship II may avail Final Placement assistance up till the
next quarter from the date of completion of Internship II as per the academic
calendar. Placement assistance for student failing to submit his/her documents

for Internship II within the designated time frame and or not seeking
placement assistance within the subsequent quarter shall be withdrawn.
Eligible students shall be granted a minimum of 3 & a maximum of 5 interview opportunities for both
Internships & Final Placements as applicable. However, the stated opportunities may be decreased or
increased as per INLEADs discretion basis a students academic and disciplinary records.
4.3.3. Liabilities:
Given to the external party dependencies for Training & Placement facilitation, INLEAD or its
representatives shall not be liable for:

Students are sent for the international internship/ placement with our industry partners basis mutual
trust and respect and it is imperative that the student must disclose all information related to himself/
herself prior to his/ her participation in the interview procedures for the same. This shall include, but
not be limited to:

4.4.2 Medical history and the documentary evidence supporting either the students fitness or
illness as applicable.
4.4.3 Criminal record, acts of felony, conviction, litigation or any court cases that the student is

presence during the interview procedures or the actual internship / placement itself.

Any student found guilty of non- disclosure or submission of unauthentic information shall be
immediately terminated from the institution and necessary disciplinary actions may initiate against the
felonious student.
Only the Covenants of the Courts in Gurgaon shall have jurisdiction over any or all matters/ dispute that
may arise out of this Agreement.
4.5
Force Majeure
INLEAD & its representatives shall not be liable for failure to perform the offered Internship/Placement
Assistance related obligations if such failure is as a result of Acts of God (including fire, flood,
earthquake, storm, hurricane or other natural disaster), war, invasion, act of foreign enemies, hostilities
(regardless of whether war is declared), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped
power or confiscation, terrorist activities, nationalization, government sanction, blockage, embargo,
labor dispute, strike, lockout or interruption or failure of electricity or telephone service.
4.6
Category B
Students under the purview of Category B shall be required to apply for International Internship/
Placement Facilitation through INLEAD.
International Internship/ Placement is an optional component of the PGDM & MBA Programs offered by
INLEAD; However opting for it shall require successful completion of the assessments outlined in the
Academic Performance Indicator for each of the prescribed program module.

Semester with INLEAD in case of MBA.

if the investigation shows that the dismissal is due to the students improper
behavior, violation of the internship regulations and/or company rules, the student
will receive a Fail grade as a result. Credit hours will not be awarded unless a fullterm experience is completed satisfactorily.

It is the student's responsibility to make reservations and pay for all airline tickets, if
needed. It is strongly advised that students do not purchase airfare until their
participation in the program is confirmed. It is also advised that students purchase
trip cancellation insurance.

A visa shall be required for travel to the internship country, depending on each
student's citizenship and length of stay. Visa requirement information can be
obtained from the embassy or the consulate of that country. It is important to obtain
information pertinent to each student's citizenship status. It is the student's
responsibility to prepare any visa documents that is necessary to enter a foreign
country. INLEAD is not responsible for ensuring that students have the appropriate
visa or documentation.

candidature.

internship/placement related communications directly received by the Institutes
channel partners, employer and or immigration office.

Third Party & its representatives to ensure clarity in this regard. INLEAD shall not be
responsible for seeking refunds from any Third Party on behalf of the Applicant.

related immigration procedures at INLEAD or the advised location for further

The Institute is not responsible for the accuracy, content, or quality of information
obtained through or stored on the Institute network.

Institute and its representatives are not liable for any damages and/or losses
associated with the use of any of its computer resources or services.

Institute computer resources may not be used to purchase personal network access or
products.

Institute is not liable, legally, financially, or otherwise, for the actions of anyone
connecting to the Internet through Institute systems.
6.3
6.3.1
The Institute provides free wireless Internet access. Users of wireless access must
abide by the Computer Resources, Internet, and Network Use Policy.
6.3.2
Institute staff cannot accept liability for personal equipment that is brought to the
Institute and therefore will not assist with configuration, installation, trouble shooting,
or support of wireless devices, including but not limited to laptops and Personal
Digital Assistants (PDAs).
6.4
Each individual is ultimately responsible for his/her own actions. Failure to exercise responsible,
ethical behavior will result in disciplinary action as appropriate. Disciplinary action may include
reprimand or denial of access. In severe cases, students may be barred permanently from using
Institute computers and network access. Certain activities violate Central/ State laws governing
use of computer systems, and may be classified as misdemeanors or felonies.

Students registered for our postgraduate courses may certify their absence due to illness from
lectures or other classes during any quarter by the submission of duly filled Leave Application
Form. This form will be valid up to 3 consecutive days. The leave application form must be
corroborated with a medical certificate of illness, if the leave duration is more than 3 days.
7.1
The Leave Application Form without a medical certificate will not be valid for:

Absence from class tests or other forms of assessment which count for 10% or
more of the mark for the module
7.2
Student Declaration/ Request Form can be obtained from the Office of Student Affairs
to apply for the leave sought by a student. The stated Form will not be accepted if
submitted after two weeks following the date of illness.
7.3
Absence through illness for periods longer than 3 consecutive days must be supported
by a medical certificate authorized by a registered medical practitioner and should be
submitted to the Office of Student Affairs.
7.4
Absence for reasons other than illness can only be allowed after the appropriate Faculty
and the Office of Student Affairs have approved a request.

This policy provides a framework for the standard of conduct expected of students of the
Institute with respect to their academic and student conduct. It outlines the primary obligations
of students, and directs students to the code and procedures that specify student obligations
and Institute responsibilities.
This policy promotes integrity and ethical behavior and guides students dealings with fellow
students, staff, the Academia, and the national and international community.
8.1
Policy Statement
The overarching obligation of all students is to act in the best interests of the INLEAD fraternity
at all times.
The code applies to the on-campus conduct of all students .The code also applies to the offcampus conduct of students in direct connection with:
8.1.2 Any activity supporting pursuit of a degree, such as research at another institution or a
professional practice assignment;
8.1.4 Any activity that causes substantial destruction of property belonging to the Institute or
members of the INLEAD fraternity or causes serious harm to the health or safety of
members of the INLEAD fraternity;
8.1.5 Any activity in which a police report has been filed, a summons or indictment has been
issued, or an arrest has occurred for a crime of violence.
8.2
Primary obligations
Students have three primary obligations with respect to their personal and professional
conduct:
8.2.1
An obligation to act with integrity in academic work, to ensure that all academic work is
conducted ethically and safely.

8.2.2 An obligation to observe standards of equity and respect in dealing with every member
of the INLEAD fraternity.
8.2.3 An obligation to use and care for Institutes resources in a lawful and appropriate
manner, and to not diminish the Institutes reputation in the carrying out of academic
and other associated Institute activities.
To affirm these primary obligations the Institute will establish a Student Code of Conduct
(Code). The Code will include specific obligations of students.
8.3
If a student breaches this policy or the Code, the Institute may take necessary action against the
offending student. These procedures include provisions for immediate suspension or restriction
of a student from the Institute in urgent circumstances.
The Institute reserves the right to administer the code and proceed with the hearing process
even if the student withdraws from the Institute, is no longer enrolled in classes, or
subsequently fails to meet the definition of a student while a disciplinary matter is pending.
Students continue to be subject to city, state, and central govt laws while at the Institute, and
violations of those laws may also constitute to violations of the code. In such instances, the
Institute may proceed with institutes disciplinary action under the code independently of any
criminal proceeding involving the same conduct and may impose sanctions for violation of the
code even if such criminal proceeding is not yet resolved or is resolved in the student's favour.
8.4
Campus decorum
8.4.1 All students are required to meet minimum 75% attendance norm.
8.4.2 All study material provided to the students during the course of their study is copy
righted by INLEAD and is not available for circulation under any circumstances.
8.4.5 Use, storage, or possession of dangerous weapons or devices including, but not limited
to, firearms, ammunition, or fireworks unless authorized by an appropriate Institute

8.4.6 Use, production, distribution, sale, or possession of drugs in a manner prohibited under
law is strictly prohibited.
8.4.7 Students must at all times refrain from dishonest conduct, including, but not limited to,
knowingly reporting a false emergency; knowingly making false accusation of
misconduct; misuse or falsification of Institute documents by actions such as forgery,
alteration, or improper transfer; submission to a Institute official of information known
by the submitter to be false.
8.4.9 Students must always present themselves as per the INLEAD Student Uniform &
Grooming guidelines while at campus.
8.4.10 Students are expected to use courteous and polite language while interacting with any
other person. Students must abstain from using insulting, inciting, threatening language
when talking with fellow students or any other entity while representing INLEAD in &
out of campus.
8.4.13 Ragging anywhere in the campus or outside the campus is strictly prohibited by court of
law. Student found involved would be rusticated from the Institute and handed over to
the Court of law.
8.4.16 Students should act in a responsible manner and should not harm or damage the college
building, books, equipments, furniture, etc. The cost of any damage so caused will be
recovered from the students.

8.4.19 No report should be sent to press or TV channels without the written permission and
approval of the Management Steering Committee.
8.4.20 Students are expected to read notices/circulars displayed on the notice boards or on the
intranet regularly. Ignorance of not reading any notice or circular displayed shall not be
accepted as an excuse failing to comply with the directions contained in it.
8.4.21 Students are required to deposit their program fees well in time failing which penalty
charges would be levied and necessary action undertaken therewith.
8.4.22 Help to maintain the beauty, serenity and greenery of the campus. Your suggestions for
campus beautification & development shall always be welcome.
8.4.23 The Management Steering Committees decision shall be final in all matters of
disciplinary action to be executed.
8.4.24 Students must not pander to Theft or the unauthorized use or possession of Institute
property or services, or the property of others.
8.4.25 Students having less than 75% of attendance shall be debarred from appearing in the
term end examination, T&P assistance or get terminated from the institute.
8.4.26 Students are expected to carry their respective identity cards/ temp. access
authorization forms every day to seek access to the campus premises and present the
same to the designated security personnel at the main gate.
8.4.27 Students are strictly prohibited from using camera or shooting videos of any
representative of INLEAD without prior knowledge of the latter and storing, sharing or
publication of such images or videos.
8.4.30 Students are expected to place the periodicals / books etc. at their designated place
after making use of them.
8.4.31 Students will be permitted to partake in the Term End Examination only upon receiving
the No Dues Clearance from The Office of Student Affairs, Department of Academics,
Department of Training & Placement & the Department of Finance.
8.4.32 Upon receiving the No Dues Clearance Form signed by the relevant authorities, the
student must submit the stated form to the Student Affairs Facilitator for attaining the
examination hall ticket. This hall ticket shall also be used as the Student ID for any
forthcoming visits of the respective student at the campus.

8.4.33 Students must compulsorily carry their examination hall ticket every day to be able to
undertake their Term End examination.
8.4.34 Use of any unfair means during the examination is a punishable offence and disciplinary
action will be taken against defaulting students.
8.5
Student Obligations
Over and above the stated guidelines, students must also ensure adherence to the below
mentioned obligatory mandates:-
8.5.1 Students have an obligation to inform themselves of the Institutes rules and policies
affecting them.
8.5.2 Students must ensure their contact details in the Institute records are up to date and
that they regularly read all emails sent to their email address as provided by the student
to the institute.
8.5.3 Students must identify themselves truthfully when required to do so by an Institute staff
member and produce their student card on request to an Institute staff member or
representative fulfilling the requirements of their duties.
8.5.4 Students must declare any criminal records, cases of conviction and or litigations at the
time of admission itself. Failure to do so may necessitate both disciplinary & legal
actions against the offending student.
8.6
8.6.1 Treat all Institute staff, other students, and visitors to the Institute with courtesy,
tolerance and respect. This extends to teaching staff in venues off-campus and online,
and supervisors and others involved in workplace or placements, fieldwork or other
practicum
8.6.2 Respect the rights of others to be treated equitably, free from all forms of unlawful
discrimination and harassment, including sexual harassment
8.6.3 Respect the rights of others to express political and religious views and not engage in
behavior that is obscene, dangerous or could reasonably be considered to be offensive
to others

8.7
Abuse of any of the Institutes pedagogic system, including but not limited to:
8.7.1 Failure to obey the summons or directives of the Institutes Academic, Student Affairs,
T&P or Academic Panel Body.
8.7.5 Attempting to Influence the impartiality of a member of any of prior to, and/or during
the course of a pedagogic proceeding
8.7.6 Harassment (verbal or physical) and/or intimidation of a member of a any of the stated
Institutes body prior to, during, and/or after a judicial proceeding
8.7.7 Failure to comply with one or more sanctions imposed under the code of student
conduct

All students at INLEAD are expected to adhere to Institute rules and policies; treat their own and
other peoples property with care and respect; respect others; monitor their own behaviour as a
group member and tolerate different viewpoints and perspectives.
9.1
Purpose
This policy is to inform students of INLEADs policy and procedures on deferral, suspension and
cancellation of enrolments.
9.2
This policy applies to all the registered students of the INLEAD academia. Students should
ensure that they have read and understood the processes involved.
9.3
9.3.1 Students wishing to defer or temporarily suspend their enrolment may only do so when
there are compelling or compassionate circumstances. Compelling or compassionate
circumstances may include, but are not limited to:
9.3.1.1
Serious illness
9.3.1.2

Serious injury
9.3.1.4
Natural disaster
9.3.2 Students must submit a Batch Transfer form to the Student Affairs Facilitator requesting
to defer or temporarily suspend their studies, together with documentary evidence
verifying their situation (for example, a medical certificate).
9.3.3 Institute will assess the application and make a decision within seven business days.
9.4

Institute has the right to cancel or suspend a students enrolment in the following
circumstances:
9.4.1
9.4.2 If a student does not maintain satisfactory course progress as per the Academic
Standards
9.4.3 If a student does not maintain satisfactory attendance as per the Academic Standards
9.4.4 If the student behaves in a way which could potentially bring the Institute into disrepute
9.4.5 If a student behaves in a way that is a threat to their own health and safety and/or a
threat to the health and safety of another student or staff member.
9.4.6 If the student has received two warnings from the Institute for disobeying Institute rules
9.4.7 If the student fails to clear his/her program fees as per the pre-defined fee schedule.
Please note the following points:
If deferral is applied within two weeks of the course commencement session and is
approved, any amount of fees paid in advance will be transferred to the next session.
If the deferral application is made after two weeks no fees paid in advance will be
transferred.
Unless the student's fees for the relevant sessions are paid in full, the student's place
will not be reserved and the new enrolment number will not be issued. Student's
current enrolment number will be cancelled and therefore they must apply for a new
enrolment.
Student can apply for Program/Batch Transfer within two weeks of the program
commencement session and is subject to approval.
Any student deviating from the defined timelines as per the Deferral Policy (Batch or
Program) will be required to re-register his/her candidature.

10.1
Liability
10.1.1 The Institute shall in no way be responsible or liable for any damages, loss, or injury
caused to the student or to his property from any cause whatsoever. INLEAD shall in no
way be liable for any damages, loss or injury or death or any claim from them regarding
loss or injury or death caused to the students in the premises.
10.1.2 The student shall maintain to his/her best knowledge the premises including equipment,
fixtures, fittings, etc. provided by INLEAD or otherwise in good working condition. Any
damage, other than the due course of wear and tear, to the premises caused by the
student shall be borne and reimbursed by the student to INLEAD. The student is solely
responsible for his behavior/responsibility during any practical training/internship/job
opportunity provided by INLEAD. INLEAD does not take any responsibility for the
students actions. That this centre is acting as a franchisee conducting courses as
authorized by INLEAD.
10.2
Right of Alteration/Modification
INLEAD reserves its right to alter or modify the structure of its program within the current broad
outlines to attain the objective of excellence. INLEAD reserves its right to modify/alter and/or
include any other Terms and Conditions that may be deemed fit in the interest of the
Institution.
INLEAD may also use student information, AVs, images and other related information for
academic purposes and beyond as deemed necessary.
10.3
Jurisdiction
10.3.1 Any dispute pertaining to admission, any matter as a student of INLEAD or involving the
construction & or application of any of the terms, provisions or conditions of this policy
document shall on written request be submitted to sole arbitrator appointed through
Primordial Systems Pvt. Ltd in the jurisdiction of Gurgaon, INDIA.

11.1
The purpose of this Policy is to provide guidance to students wishing to raise reasonable
suspicions they may have about irregularities in the running of the Institute or of the
activities of colleagues within the Institute.
11.2
This guidance is not intended to replace the Institutes existing policies and procedures
in relation to grievances, harassment, disciplinary matters or student complaints. Where
injustices or discrimination affect an individual personally, there are specific procedures
to use
11.3
In addition, the Institute has procedures in place to deal with suspected fraud or
financial irregularities under which students may raise concerns directly with the
Graduate Advisor
11.4
Students will have protection against dismissal and victimization if they make
protected disclosures. This is limited in the type of disclosure it protects and the
Institute believes that students should feel able to raise legitimate concerns without
fear of their position within the Institute being jeopardized. This guidance is intended to
set down what staff and students should do if they have such concerns
11.5
In all but the most exceptional cases the person against whom an allegation is made
must be told of the allegation and of the evidence supporting it and be allowed to
comment before the preliminary investigation is concluded and a report made
11.6
11.7
The results of any investigation, including those relating to research activity, will be
reported to the Academic Head
11.8
The person making any allegation should be assured that their concerns will be treated
seriously and sensitively, if they approach the appropriate person as provided for in this
policy
11.9
If anonymity is requested, the person should be assured that this will be respected as far

as is possible, consistent with a fair investigation and a fair disciplinary action or legal
action should this be required, as there may be an overriding reason for disclosure
11.10 A person should be assured that although anonymity cannot be guaranteed in all
circumstances, the Institute will support them and protect them from reprisal provided
the person has acted in good faith. Anonymous allegations are not encouraged but will
be investigated at the discretion of the officer to whom the allegation is made having
regard to the seriousness of the allegation
11.11 Provided allegations are made in good faith in line with this policy, the position of the
person making them shall not be disadvantaged. Students abusing the process by raising
allegations other than in good faith or repeating unfounded allegations may be subject
to disciplinary action
11.12 Students making allegations may be informed of the general outcome of the
investigation, but are not entitled to receive a copy of the report which is confidential to
the investigator, the Officer responsible for initiating the investigation, the appropriate
disciplinary authority if relevant and the Audit Committee.
