You have an available unique public IP address to assign to your ViBE server and GSM
Gateway (if needed).
Step-by-Step Procedure
1) Download the setup files. The ViBE server setup files are available on the Voipex FTP server.
ftp://ftp.vibesupport.com
Username:

Password:

(The OVF ViBE firmware image file is contained in the ViBE-ESXi.zip file).
2) Connect to the host machine using vSphere.

Once you have logged in you will see the following screen.

5) Go through the setup wizard and accept all the default options. Once the OVF file has been
loaded onto the host machine it will now have a virtual server installed onto it. The virtual
server is called ViBE Appliance.

6) Press the Start button to power on the virtual machine.

You now need to configure the WAN interface IP address and default Gateway of the ViBE server.
7) Select the Console tab to access the virtual machine.
8) Click on the console window to access the command prompt. To get out of the console
window press Ctrl-Alt.
The default gateway and IP address now need to be configured so that the server can be accessed via
the internet.
To configure the IP address, enter the command:ifconfig eth0 public.ip.address netmask netmask
For example:
ifconfig eth0 188.146.156.101 netmask 255.255.255.0
The default gateway now needs to be configured. Use the following command:route add default gw default.gateway.ip.address
The ViBE server can now be accessed via the Web browser.

Licenses
Any new VMware installations benefit from a valid evaluation license for 60 days. Unlimited licenses
are also available free on the VMware website:
https://www.vmware.com/tryvmware/p/landing.php?p=free-esxi5
You can register an account for free. Once you have done this, login to your account and you will then
be provided with a license key as well as download links for vSphere and ESXi
Once you have received your license, you will need to apply it to the host machine. This needs
to be done in vSphere.
1) Select your host machine (not the ViBE appliance).
2) Go to Configuration > license features and click Edit on the far-right of that window.
The edit window will pop up as shown below.
