Re-discovering Inclusivity and Sustainability in Asia Pacific Development

into a Strategic Corporate and Business School Agenda

Prasetiya Mulya Business School (PMBS) and School of Business and Management ITB
(SBM-ITB) are honored to invite faculties and researchers to submit papers and case studies for the
Association of Asia Pacific Business Schools (AAPBS) Academic Conference to be held on May 1415, 2015 in Bali, Indonesia.
The primary focus of this conference is finding options for corporate strategic adaptation with
the aim of reinventing the corporations in terms of its inclusion and sustainable attributes. To be
effective, such focus requires strong collaboration among relevant institutions and their respective
stakeholders, particularly school management, faculties and researchers and their respective
associations.
Scope of Issues
The worsening inequality and the threats to sustainability that are associated with economic
developments of the last four decades have triggered a strong wave of demand for redirection in the
agenda of business schools, corporations and government in the Asia-Pacific region.
Business schools from around the Asia Pacific shoulder an important responsibility for
playing a pivotal role in facilitating the integration of greater inclusion and sustainability into
the agenda of the regions business organizations, be they large, medium or small. This can be
implemented through collaboration in research, case writing, curriculum development or even
faculty and student exchanges.
Overview and Draft Papers
Interested faculties, researchers and practitioners are invited to submit their abstract of papers or
case studies of up to 250 words by Feb 20, 2015. Papers and case studies are to be submitted by
May 01, 2015.
The AAPBS and Conference Committee will publish selected papers in the Conferences
Proceedings.
Topics of interest
Topics include, but are not limited to the following:

Reinventing business vision

(Sustainability from Indonesian SMEs point of view: The Triple Bottom Line Matters)
Economically okay but not for the environment (need reuse, reduce, recycle)

Addressing financial specific issues relating to quasi public goods/infrastructure

Placing inclusion and sustainability in market competitiveness

Making learning society works

Building companies as communities

Women leadership

Organization change initiatives

Zero waste in conferment in sustainability

Paper Submission Guideline


Papers and case studies must be original and have not been submitted to any publisher or
conference.
Papers must be adhere to the format 12pt Arial font, 1 spacing.

Submission implies the willingness of at least one author to register and attend the conference to
present the paper. There is no submission fee for Call for Papers and Case Studies. Conference fee
applies to each participant.

Refund policy
Requests for refund must be submitted by sending written notice no later than 21 days prior to the
conference date. Refunds will be issued approximately 6-8 weeks after the conclusion of the
conference. Refund transferring charge is non-refundable.
